I never would have thought back in the day that either of The Rockers would be anything but popular mid-card guys. The interviewer was Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake. He's actually Hulk Hogan's cousin in real life. At any rate, this happened in December 1991 and was pretty intense for the time. Shocked the hell outta me as a kid.

Michaels was good, but his career was waning and he was hurting. HHH was constantly involved in other story-lines, so they didn't have him. Orton still hadn't developed yet, and Batista wasn't anywhere near Cena's level of popularity. WHO ELSE was going to take it on. It's a new era.
