no thats not how the story goes, it took all the gods to beat typhon and even then they were barly able to beat him. (also im not 100% sure on this one but i dont think typhon was a titan, wasnt he the father of all monsters?)

@dbzplayer123 This is what I've heard, Typhon is both a Titan AND the Father of All Monsters, he was the spawn of Gaia and Tartarus (that's really ominous, Tartarus was the Greek's version of Hell, so Typhon was a spawn of Hell!) Gaia mothered him out of vengeance for the rest of the Titans that were imprisoned. Typhon was so frightening that Zeus was the only god brave enough to face him, all the rest fled to Egypt and the first time he fought he lost to Typhon (got his tendens cut out)

No, typhon was a monster, father of all monsters. But he wasn't a Titan. After the titans got defeated by Zeus, Gaia created Typhon and Echidna. Zeus pinned Typhon down with a mountain, and let Echidna escape, so she and her offspring can challenge other future heroes.

She has done an extensive amount of reasurch and constantly tells sourses. Most of these being from Homer, Hesiod and others. It has many quotes and is very detailed and reliable. This said the uncencored myths are incrediblely non child friendly and are moraly sick. Zeus, Posiden and Apollo rape tons and tons of ladies, have sex with boy mostOfThem young

All all of the heroes are not very simpathetic at all. e.g Hercules kills an entire city because the king said he wasnt allowed to wed his daughter, and this incident happened a long time ago. It's a really really good book and I do recommended it and the author is completly un condeming of the myths she has collected.

When u mentioned Herakles, were u talking about Troy? I kno he destroyed it, but it was because he'd saved the city from a ketos and the king refused to give him the promised reward of magic horses. Uh, I kno Lykaon was 1 guy who fed Zeus his son, but Zeus punished him by turning him into a werewolf. Tantalos, a demigod of Zeus...

Alcmene was the mother of Hercules and the wife of Amphitryon, but the night she conceived Hercules and his twin brother Iphicles, Alcmene mated with both Zeus, who had disguised himself as her husband, and Amphitryon. As a result, Zeus was Hercules' father, but Amphitryon was the father of Iphicles. But its disney, and kids watch it, so they don't really need to know that :L
