Dude you are awesome, and actually i feel the same way about my gender identity, not so much with my sexuality just becuase i describe it as I'm open to anyone and anything.
I think the challenge is that we are often trying to find "terms" or "labels" for concepts that do not exist currently in society. A word has to represent something, and our ability to conceptualize has not yet evolved to the point of understanding the spectrum of identities. Hence, there are no words.
self gender identification is a great topic. one that many folks as yourself may have a hard time dealing with BUT you have to remember this. if you were to rob a bank tomorrow you will most likly be described by witnesses as "the robber was a white male in his early twenties." the witnesses will care less if you're FTM, straight, gay, bi etc.
Dude, I relate so much to what you're saying. There is a certain pressure to find a label and stick to it, and when you won't, people seem to try to force on on you. Its hard not to want to in order to belong. To me, all the labels seem so claustrophobic and restrictive and I don't ever want that, not for my gender identity or my sexuality. People also speculate about my sexuality as well, so funny how its so important to people to peg you down like that! (cont)
@alexhaney100 I tend to say I'm queer, and in my trans community there is a lot of talk of spectrums. I really like that because to me being on a spectrum allows room to move about it, rather than being boxed into a label. I completely relate to feeling different in terms of context, too... sometimes feeling really male, other times being more in touch with female aspects or genderqueerness.
I don't mean to label you, at ALL, but I do think that if you identify is "fluid", then pangender or genderfluid is a really good description for that. there's also pansexual and omnisexual, which means everyone and everything in between.
@ShesTavi Definitely not feeling labeled at all, so now worries :) I agree that those terms would probably be best suited to how I feel, but I just have a hard time finding one term that embodies the entirety of my identity! I'm thinking I am just going to have to come up with my own term and leave it at that!
@thegreatwhaley Why not just leave it with no label? Not everything has to have a label or name (f.i. some time ago there even was no term for "gay" and then there were only "gay actions", not "gay people"...). It's just hard to accept if one constantly feels the pressure to choose a label...

@thegreatwhaley Terms, in essence, are really just fabrications. Just be you.
