hey man AMAZING MASH-UP! lovin it! i make some mash ups myself but i dont really know how to go about uploading them for lyk copyright issues if u get me. im only 13 and i make all of my mash-ups live. i didnt wanna upload them incase i got lyk sued or sumfin. can u help me out?

@SheaW377 The best you can do is to flip the images of any music videos you use and use video effects to disguise the copyrighted material. I use grids. Other mashers like DrokasMashup use colouring effects.

In terms of the music itself, that's all to do with luck. You can avoid detection if you alter the pitch of the song, but then you'll be putting out the mash-up how it wasn't meant to sound.

Don't worry about being sued. The worst than can happen is they'll take your video down.

@SheaW377 I use Adobe Audition to extract the acapellas and Adobe Premiere Pro to align the acapella and instrumental. Premiere Pro isn't a program you really should use for mashes, if you don't wanna spend anything, I would recommend Audacity.

@DjShockSuspect i used to use adobe audition for everything. extracting the acapellas and instrumentals from the songs and also using it to mash up the music. i use traktor scratch pro now to make the mash ups. i only use adobe audition for getting the acapellas and instrumentals out of the songs. im just wondering if u have another program that you use for editing the music videos of the song you just mashed and adding fx to it such as a grid or something to stop them taking down the vid

@nielsneerhoff It generally won't work as well as Audition but it will work to an extent and it totally depends on the track. Some songs work really well with the inversion technique, others don't work at all. But if it's the Jason Derulo acapella you're wanting, there's a link in the description for that.
