  • this video is great

  • Life is hard, Life is short, Pain malaws like Billy Club

  • This came out long before Breathe by Prodigy. He isn't ripping anyone off.

  • FIFA 2004EURO!

  • Wow back then he was a prodigy ripoff.. hehe

  • Serve me up a 12 pack of Junkie XL soda!

  • Only 3 words about this video.....WTF!

  • whoah? is this making fun of Prodigy's "Breathe" or something?

  • Although Junkie XL still does great things today, this formation was a supergroup and I realise that I was very lucky to see them play live twice too bad that they peaked so shortely

  • brings back memories from euro 2004, great song, love the older fifa's just as much as the new ones

  • Ocrana CS Movie =D

  • EA Sports UEFA EURO 2004!

  • Oh, i remember this song very well. Brings back good memories!

    Junkie XL = good music!

  • Hell yeah...I was thirteen when this was showing on MTV...memories like whoa.

  • Great music!!! Used to see it at MTV...good old times...

  • JXL have wonderfull song, but I dont understand what happend with his album Castbreeder?anyone.....?

  • the difference between (old school) JXL and Prodigy is is four words: SILVER SURFING RUDE BOY. This guy makes all those "dancers" turned "singers" in Prodigy look like school kids. Don't believe me? check out Urban Dance Squad and see Rude Boy kick yer ass.

  • @slightermusic respect.

  • You mean: Prodigy is very much like Junkie XL. But less complex produced. Liam did here some demo's of Junkie XL before he did Fat of the land. They both got their album out in 1997. Both bands are good only Junkie XL is on higher level if you listen closely.

  • yh excellent song, love it.. if im right this song was on euro 2004 the game :)

  • сюда бы больше подошёл вокал Владимира Семёновича Высоцкого или Никиты Высоцковича Джигурды чем этого недорезанного педобира Родиона Эскрадроновича Газманова. А музыка хорошая.

  • wtf si this...

  • When I was a little boy and where was no internets at all, i thought this track is the Prodigy.

  • shitty video, but I LOVE this song.

  • i remember this song but the video for it was different? is there 2 versions?

  • I used to hear this song at the club all the time back in 2002. I think I first heard it on the Wing Commander Prophecy soundtrack CD.

  • Sounds like The Prodigy versus Fatboy Slim.

  • Is that Young Jeezy? hahaha This song is STILL massive after all these years.

  • Very much like Prodigy!

  • I agree, when I heard this on a tv show I thought at first that it was Prodigy :)

But that's never a bad thing for a song, eh? :D

  • My flatmate and I used to play this a couple of times in a row to fire ourselves up before jogging or martial arts practice...great to hear it again, thanks for posting!

  • This song was on the Wing Commander: Prophecy Soundtrack if anyone is looking for it.

  • Wow!

This brings back memmories! Tagrijn Hilversum 1998 - Lowlands 1999!

    Those were some times.......

  • this was one of my first records, use to spin this all the time. love this song

  • where can i get this, it isnt on limewire

  • acid trip track, mad good.

  • def is man

  • Love JXL, Love this album. But you can hear the prodigy influence very well. This song sounds a lot like 'breathe' to me. Also 'Dealing with the roster' from the album is almost a copy of smack my bitch up. Besides that, the combination with rudeboy makes everything better :-)

  • absolutely right, first time i heard it i was like: wow this is almost a perfect rip-off of the Prod

  • Hmmm, it depends on what you know about the music coming out at the time. There were a lot of electronic artists impressed with Howlett's big beat sound, but guitar/electronic sounds were being pioneered by many others. No doubt that giant kicked sound influenced early junkie, but he released his album before Fat Of The Land while the Prodge were still finishing it off. Plus: Dino Cazares on guitar. Nuff said.

  • Sorry but the Prodigy already released Breathe and Smack my Bitch up on cd-single before JXL released his album.

  • Not true. Feel free to check but while Breathe came out 6 months before Junkie relased his album in March 1997. Smack My Bitch up came out 7 months after Saturday Teenage Kick. Don't patronise people if you don't have the facts. Nobody said the Prodigy weren't one of the people who pioneered the new wave of breakbeat sounds, but Liam Howlett wasn't the sole pioneer of these sonics and they weren't the only ones doing it at the time is what I'm saying.

  • Yeah, but what does it matter? Those vibes all belonged to the late ninetees.

It's all the same sound: prodigy, junkie xl and also atari teenage riot.

  • This shit is so hard I LOVE THIS SONG! I'll never forget it ! LIFE IS HARD !

  • true that !

  • life is hard, life is short - paved by laws like billy club. \m/\m/

  • sick song <3

  • JXL and Rudeboy... the perfect Rockin'Techno Rapper group if there ever was... Dude Rude Boy... where ya at now. The music scene isn't waht it used to be man. Peace... NAB.

  • Richtig geile abfahr mucke !!!!!!!!!

  • this is before it became the junkie xl it is now a days.this is a dutch guy called paul and hes a hell lof beter than the junkie xl there is now!!

  • Junkie XL is and always was Tom Holkenborg. Tom worked with Rudeboy on the first two Junkie XL albums. Tom wanted to go more into the dance music and Rudeboy didn't like that so they split up.

  • Somebody can upload the Saturday Teenage Kick Video? I have seen it only once, and i want to see it again.

    (Sorry for my bad English)

  • thank you for this! i loved them in the 90's!

  • thank you for this! i loved them in the 90's!

  • Ha ha man no way I havent heard this song for almost ten years!! Goes off!

  • Thanks for the up! This is a wicked song! I haven't heard it in forever!

  • junkie is the best DJ

  • Good song and good album, thanks for sharing! Got hooked ever since Test Drive 5 featuring JXL's song "Def Beat"

  • Same hear, back in '98. I only bought that game because Fear Factory were mentioned in the music credits but infact the game got me into Pitchshifter (geeennniiiiuuusss!). Someone upload the "saturday teenage kicks" video, it was on one of roadrunner's "drilling the vein" videos back in the day.

  • Yeah, that game got me into all those bands. Fear Factory is pretty good and KMFDM pretty much rules. I only like a few Pitchshifter songs though (including Genius).

  • Euro 2004
