@filahohi I know this reply is late and if its not resolved yet you can try this. I had the same problem but with all my software programs. On your computer go to start then control panel. If your running windows find windows defender open it and run a scan. It will scan your computer. If any malicious or harmful software is detected you can quarantine or get rid of it completely. I did this and now I don't have any problems getting into any of my software programs.

@EpicNam3 you'd think, but no...there is this known bug that they don't tell you about, where if you try to uninstall it doesent do a proper job, and you are left with no antivirus protection, no possibility to install another antivirus, and the permission problem illustrated in the video, and since I uninstalled the program I can not access the exceptions tab. what makes it worse is they made a special uninstaller... and that thing doesent work... all good things in life are free my ass

Anyone who is having problems with this follow these steps to see if AVG is actually causing the problem:

Go to start -> run and type in services.msc

Find AVG Free* Watchdog and double click it. (* indicates number)

Change startup type to disabled and click apply then ok.

Restart computer and try running your programs.

If they still do not work then AVG is not the problem and I'm afraid I can't help you there. If they do work then just use Resident shield exceptions inside AVG. (Read desc.)

I switched off win7's firewall temporarily, uninstall-ed AVG, then restarted

Now I have permission, AVG somehow was still not allowing permission even when I unactivated it and restarted!
