Ah, never mind my earlier post - I had a treasuremap where it had a treasure by the "upper-monkey-toe" (you had by the left of the "left-monkey-toe" - So I guess the treasures aren't at same place in every game.

An interesting fact about Darknuts, when one of their swords are not around, instead of going only melee like the moblins will, who will not pick up any other weapons, Darknuts will pick up a moblin's spear if it is near and no sword is in sight.

This is a fairly easy game, I remember beating it on my own when I was around 10 years old (My profile page age is a lie :D), But this is a very nice guide to get all the secrets if you don't wanna gaze at plain text guides while playing :)

Also I just LOVE narrated walkthroughs, you're really funny :D

I just got to say that you can get a lot of secrets in the beginning of the game, I had around 8 hearts when I entered Forsaken Woods, but it's optional when to do them of course :D

Thanks bud!! And not to contradict you, but until you're done with the Forbidden Woods, they don't allow you to travel many places to do the sidequests - trust me, I tried to do Crescent Moon Island after Dragon Roost Cavern, and if you're playing the original, the King of Red Lions will turn around and tell you to not veer off course.

No, but you can still do a lot of side quests for example on Windfall Island, like the auction house at night, with 200 rupees it can be tough to win the heart piece but I did it.

You can also get the deluxe pictobox before you complete Forbidden Woods, which opens up more side quests like the emo kid on the stairwell who wants a picture of a midnight moon :)

You can also get the switch-between-night-and-day song to help with the Nintendo Gallery :D

But of course, it is much easier to do them later in the game, but I myself enjoy having a lot of hearts in the beginning, to ensure I don't die inside dungeons, I just hate when that happens :)

Also it is a bit late, but a great tips if you're doing the nintendo gallery is to do the Forest Haven one before you defeat Forbidden woods, since after that they will all scatter across the ocean.

And you can only get the forbidden woods boss once :(

Still I don't think the NG gives anything though xD

Correction: the Forbidden Woods boss is repeated in the final dungeon. And the only prize you get for collecting all of the figurines is the figurine for Link and the King of Red Lions... so yeah, nothing huge. :) Plus, I didn't want to jump back and forth so much between islands in my walkthrough, don't want to confuse everyone TOO much - Roost Island, Windfall, Forest Haven, Windfall, Haven again, lol.

You definitely can! :) I did mention that while I was still in the Forest Haven, just after I beat the Forbidden Woods temple, but this is just a nice way to get access to it in a more central location too.

You know, as someone who is part of a group who makes fun of really bad LPs (a retsupurae group if you will), I must say, you're probably one of the best LPers I have ever seen.

I'm serious. You're actually informative and pick games that actually might require a walk-through, unlike most LPers who pick a Mario Rom hack or "I Wanna Be The Guy" and die a whole bunch of times, never edit and make annoying and stupid jokes.
