I don't understand the negative feedback towards the interviewer. She asked questions which made him talk at length and didn't try and be funnier than him, probably knowing she never could be.
@harryforeman Thank you for your reasoned and well thought out statement. You've done a lot to help change people's minds with your evidence based arguments and polite demeanour.
@98smithg Why did you stop it so early and buy the book? Personally I can't get my head around the idea of anyone not liking Charlie Brooker but thats up to you. Surely you'd watch a bit more information not just this is a book that exists I'll order it
@stayoffschool Oh god paxman could start a fight in a room with just him in it. He's as subtle as watching a slow motion video of a flock of seagulls flying through a jet engine
I got his book for christmas... dont read it if you dont want to fall completely in love with him...i think i spent to much time in his mind and got stockholm syndrome... but i dont want it to wear off ever! he's so great!
@jobe129 There's something really unsettling about her, she looks as though someone has just wiped a piece of used toilet paper under her nose. She should stick to writing and keep away from a lens.
Apparently some of the audience required beer to maintain a suitable level of intoxication? - maybe they decided to enhance their entertainment those crazy guardian non-squares
Not based on what I've been reading about the BBC since Sachsgate. Believe me, there are plenty of hyper-sensitive idiots running around in America, but I don't think Britain is necessarily much better in that regard.

Marina is posh totty. Writes like another genuis, her Lost in Showbiz column is a hoot, basically putting pompous A to Z listers in their place.

I don't have a problem with her, but I live in the USA so I'm used to way more annoying people than Marina Hyde.

That's something about Britain I like, Freedom of speech that's not limited by morons that are scared of words.
You could get arrested for assault for swearing in the south.
