looks to me like there's too much weight in the front, and the back is sort of rotating around it. it would be very difficult to get a uniform spin off the jump :\

exactly, he should build a ramp that its not necessarily for catching air to pull back flips off,, but wtih one edge of the ramp elevated to start the rotation. to much mass there for a little guy like him to be twisting it.
