this Game will never hit the US=(...........they know most americans wont buy a game about japanese baseball because they dont know the players and teams so its an unfamiliarity thing...........and if they said well lets give it a MLB makeover(A La MLB power Pros)they know it'll just be the exact same thing as MLB the show

@backyardbaseball2006 I actually tried to get proyakyuu spirits 10. But EVERYTHING in japan has a damn area code. Which means that that japanese game will not work on my American PS3. But American games work on japanese consoles! WTF thats not fair.

@filipinowhiteboy What are you talking about? None of the Pro Yakyu Games has a Region protection. I play the Game on my PAL PS3. Btw.:PYS is way better then any other Baseball Game out there.(Gameplay+Graphics)

@DjNunez10:I don´t think we will ever see a translatet Version of PYS. But there´s a great Web-Site called "Spiritstranslation" they doing a great job Translating the Game and help People who want to play it! Everyone who´s into Baseball, should at least play once PYS. Its incredible!

@ELDoro Yeah I found that out not long ago and I am ten kinds of pissed about it. I tried to get this when I was in Akihabara. But the store clerk gave me a warning (In japanese which I have a weak grasp of) and pointed to a little message in the bottom right corner of the game case which clearly says "Japan Only". With a message like that, it's easy to assume that it means that the game is region locked. Anyway, I just bought PYS2011. Should be getting it soon

The Pro Yakayuu series SHITS ON MLB THE SHOW WTF!??!?!? I cant beleieve how clean this looks and Interviewing the 2top performers of the game was a nice touch and the way they did it looked fucking real and clean On the show they should do the pie in the Face.......one Crappy thing i saw was the swinging mechanic he stood there and just swung it looks like everyones back leg falls to the ground

oh my god, this is a great game, I love how you can see that split view of the guy hitting the ball before you see it dropping unlike in the american games where it just switches immediately. I also like the dugout view and the hitting system...awesome job Konami. If this ever translates to english, even if the teams are japanese, I'd get this game.

i love this game i just have 2 problems with this game ONLY 2, i really wanted this to have the option to translate it to english, and lastly i want the computer to actually throw balls and strikes not just strikes. i havent bought yaktuu 2010 because i have the 2009 version and they still pretty much looks the same. and also the 2009 version has WBC which is a big plus.

This one is more realistic and more serious.

But Pawapuro is much more enjoyable fun and incredibly addictive.

This the best animated Baseball game I've ever seen and I'll explain why. MLB the Show 10 has everything but this one factor. A realistic vew. MLB the Show does a good job of real similation but this is by far the best. The reason why is that you can actually see where the baseball goes off the bat in the behind the pitcher view, just like REAL BASEBALL. MLB the show changes the view right before you even make contact so you don't know where the hell the ball is going when you hit it.

The differences about the West game and East game of baseball seem to lie a great deal in the fans..feels like your at a damn hockey game or the superbowl in this. Thats cool Japan takes the game this seriously and the fans love it so much..

the crowd as in how they are presented in look i like better in the Show. As far as sound they seem more hyped about the game and i love this. The crowd in the show will shout random stuff and in a high pressure moment while pitching i notice that the crowd will stand up and get very loud. The crowd overall sounds better in this. The gameplay looks more interactive in regards to fielding. maybe batting too..it looks like you can really see and feel everything about where the ball is going..

I think they make it too real and sacraficed the gameplay.

The presentation of yakyuu spirits are way more realistic than MLB the show

and the graphics is just right out of real players but the show looks rather

cartoonish the enviroment and clothing effects are the only things that

MLB does better.

Pro yakyuu spirits is fun and MLB power pros super fun,The show is boring!

So i dont really play the whole game. i can see what your sayn though cause ive tried to play the whole game and somethings missing. the fielding is kinda dumb in it too. batting needs what your talkin about to make it more realistic i agree.

It looks pretty damn good. It may very well be better than the show. I find it hard to believe it is better by miles and miles,. sounds like hype to me. i dont know, i havent played it. The fielding definately looks a head above mlb 10. The pace of the game seems a little fast but just because the crowd and great announcing push it along that way. The stakes of the game feel higher than in the Show. I like the crowd better in the show and off the field stuff but the dugout cuts great here!

Yeah, I don't know why people rave about that game. I tried one one

on the PSP and it's a huge steaming pile of crap.  Maybe that's because it's

on the PSP and not the PS2 or PS3 instead. But I prefer how this game lets you

control the bat.

MLB Power Pros is pretty sweet too. Despite the cartoony graphics, it's a darn fine game. Makes me wish I knew Japanese so I could play these gems.

I like how they bring in the Reliever in a Honda! I'd love to play this game, except for the cursor-batting... I think MLB 10 has the best hitting mechanic.

Cursor batting is counter-intuitve to hitting. it forces you to watch and move your cursor in the strike zone. When I'm hitting in real life, I'm watching the ball, not the strikezone looking to place my bat.
