I heard a story about a dog that found a small child drowning in a small lake.The boy was found completely ok, on the other side where there were no weeds or rocks. this indredible dog dragged this boy along the lakeside til he could find a spot to carefully drag the child safely to dry land. not a scratch on the child! I do believe that these loyal creatures have a special lesson to teach us. Good video!

i LOVE pit bulls... i am a proud previous owner and my dog Yuri went to a family with a great big yard and a little boy... he brings them so much love every day i couldn't bear to see the little boy sad when yuri left so he is now the little boys best friend but will always be in my heart and soul.... I love pit bulls, and as a veteran of OIF and OEF in the 1st Cav I have seen pit bulls who are more brave than any man or woman I have ever seen... They are truly a gift from God.

i have a pitbull my grandpa is always telling me it"S a bad idea my pitbull protected my 3 week old kitten when thier mom wasn"t there for them pit bulls are good dogs she lets my 5 year old cousin walk her with no problem and lets her climb on her i would die for my pitbull kita

I helped bring a rescue pit to my oldest sister Terrie. The MINUTE Dutchess saw my son she bonded to him. NOW the dog is living with my son and I because she was too much to handle in my sister's home. Well! Since she has been here she KNOWS when my son is calling me or gets hurt! Rob, my son, was just in a dirt bike crash and was hurt pretty bad. JUST BEFORE I WAS TOLD ABOUT IT Dutchess was going ballistic to go outside! I had no clue what was going on. This happened more than once!

WOW! I cried! I have a rescue Pit Bull - Miracle - and she could have been in the video because of all she went through. Thank you for helping correct people's perception of the breed. The media only reports bad news on this breed because it's trendy right now. They rarely report the good, and people like you are wonderful to help show that these dogs are amazing!

you can add my dog to this. She ran down a man that broke into our house and held her down till the cops came and found them a block away. When the cops found them she let go and walked with tail wagging to the cops.The guy tried to press charges cause he was bit, the POLICE came and testifed for my dog, they said she was a true member of the family and was only doing her job. The rap that pitties get makes me want to scream in anger. The most dangerous animal on earth is NOT the pittie, it is the human. Last night I was lucky to meet a beautiful pittie girl named "Bones". She was beyond sweetness. The entire time that I was petting her, her tail wagged and she couldn't give enough doggie kisses. I adore pitties and I pray that someday I will be blessed to be owned by one.

so so true!! my pitbull rosco that we adopted has always been there for me and one time i was jogging with him and this lab retreiver charged out at me and wen she leaped too attack me, rosco jumped up in front of me and saved my life by biting that stupid dogs face before she got too mine, jessie the lab got put too sleep after nearly killing the neighbor kid

i have owned chow chows my whole life because i loved their loyalty and they would protect me whenever...well i just rescued a pit rhodesian ridgeback mix and he is my shadow and is truely my best friend eventhough i have had my chow for ten years...rudy my pit mix is by far the best dog i've ever owned..he just wants to please me and that is his life mission ..my wife just had a baby 2 days ago and i couldn't wait for rudy to meet him and now rudy just guards my son i love rudy!!!!!!

I have a lil 7 month old blue pit. She's one of the sweetest dogs ive ever seen, and whenever Im sleeping she lets me know when something suspicious is outside. She's one of the most loyal dogs ive ever been around (and ive been workin at a dog kennel for 5 years). its a shame what the media has done to these dogs. Thanks for the great video.

I almost cried reading some of these stories. Pitbulls are such awesome dogs and they almost never get the full credit they deserve. My brother lives with me and he has two bully puppies, Buster and Buddy. I love them to death. Buddy always jumps on my bed and sleeps with me. He's my four legged security alarm and comforter. I'm sorry if I rambled on, but that's just how I feel about them. Great video, thanks for posting!

Great video, thank you for making it. I just rescued a pit mix because of the horrific treatment these dogs are so wrongfully getting. The media sucks and should be held accountable for the bs they constantly sprout. STOP BSL!!

I've been around animals(mainly dogs)for most of my 56 soon to be 57 years on this planet.

In all that time I've groomed, rescued,socialized&rehomed many canines.

I can honestly say the steadiest soul I have ever come to know is my 13 year old adba red girl katie!She is fearless but loving and intelligent&lets hope not one of the last of her kind....No to BSL!

great vid. but i wonder why ppl are so afraid to see the good side of pits, like ones in this vid. i dont think ppl want to see pitbulls as heros which would put some other breeds down like the lab and g.sheperd. the pitbull's loyalty their best trait.  that's why i can't imagine having any other breed.
