@ICapedYou it wasn't rerecorded with fraps. it was captured from my computer screen as the built in software for the capture card uses lossy codecs. fraps is lossless and uncompressed. i then work with the video captured from fraps through the editing process and then compress it at the end. youtube really doesn't do the video justice to be honest. i may just upload a sample clip to megaupload or something so that people can see the real quality. it's night and day.
@ICapedYou oh i forgot to mention. i can capture uncompressed video with my capture card software, but it requires a fast RAID array to do so. fraps might have cost $30, but it was a better option than buying 2-3 extra HDDs to improve my speeds.
why dont u just take the raw footage and edit that? and or upload the raw footage? why record, then re-record with fraps? you lose quality that way
or does the capture card capture in an un-common video format?
