I can play the basic A5-C5-D5 power chords, but according to the sheet music you're supposed to reach up 4 and 5 frets with your little finger to get the A6 and A7 chords respectively. And I can't do that - well, just about, but it's really painful. :-(

But hopefully that's just because I'm a beginner and my hands aren't flexible enough yet, rather than because they're too small!

Paul actually played a Fender 'Esquire' which was well, a Telecaster. It appeared on this song as well as a Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band where he played the lead. I don't believe he used it to record again until he was with Wings..
