  • They finished as true legends, but They reborns like Zwan but with a different name, Billy decided to call it SP again, but they were not, Zeitgeist was good, but for any band, not for SP. I would have preferred that They wouldn't returned with that name, and 'cause that name means a lot, and now they are destroying the legend that was, that still is and always will be.

  • it's matt walker formerly of filter, he filled in when jimmy was fired in 96 and then toured with Billy for the future embrace tour...he recorded some drums for Adore aswell

  • Watched them live recently at the Vancouver PNE Forum... amazing it was everything and more of what I expected they really put a lot of energy in it and it was an awesome 20 song set I can't wait to see them live again!!!! ... I was very upset to hear that someone died that night but I still stand by my earlier statement

  • I had the chance to go to one of the Pumpkins last shows in Kansas City... but I ended up not getting to go... It sucked! I never saw them live either. :(

  • I am one of a bajillion pumpkin fans that was never able to live the dream of seeing them live. I was at one of the 5 metro shows for the release of the zwan album, and Corgan and Chamberlain were amazing even then. Meeting Billy after the show was a bittersweet experience, but one well appreciated. Now I can look forward to finally seeing them rock out the SP material!!! Rock On Billy.

  • yes, all the pumpkins albums were amazing including machina (it was just a bit too long).. what WASN'T amazing was zwan, and the future embrace.

    MCIS happened to be when they were most popular, and it was a masterpiece, but hey so was adore.  times change.

    i love billy saying "we tried." most "rock" bands these days think it's cool to act apathetic, but billy's music was always better for taking the opposite approach.
