Uh no The Very first Godzilla died from an Oxygen bomb, the second one was transferred from the future to the past if you've seen Godzilla vs King Gridorah. Then the Second Godzilla died in Destroyah, the 3rd Godzilla was then matured into an Adult Godzilla which is the Godzilla we see now which was in Final Wars, Minalla was the adopted son, but they do say that Godzilla does reproduce just like some birds. They invade another birds nest and lay eggs or something like that.

None of the mellenium films are connected to the hesei or showa films, and the same with showa to hesei, except for the original.

you are right. the original godzilla is godzilla #1, the godzilla from "godzilla raids again" through "terror of mechagodzilla" is godzilla #2 with minya being #3. but since the hesei godzilla films dont connect with the showa, the hesei godzilla becomes godzilla #2 with jr #3. and since the mellenium films dont continue within themselves (excluding godzilla against mechagodzilla and tokyo sos) all of those godzillas are godzilla #2. so, in all, there are about 3 godzillas total.

There was not enough action on the monster shots and far to much dancing around by the so called Mutants, Boring. The Acting was also very bad. The proir film all monsters attack was far superior in every way. I am truely saddened that the last Godzilla film was Final Wars. MHO

I hope the 3D film being made has a better story line and some good acting.
