They were lot of rumors but they were only rumors, nothing factual or proven. There is a slight chance that there was something between Rekha and Amitabh. Initially, it was not suppose to be Jaya in this movie. The role was Jaya was given to someone else, I forgot who. I think then Amitabh insisted to take in Jaya for the role so they can shut off the rumors. Great songs, good acting and I dont know how Amitabh was able to act in this movie opposite Rekha while having Jaya in the same scenes.
