Vick had dogs doused with water and electrocuted, he used a nylon rope nailed to a tree to hang dogs, he drowned dogs, he slammed dogs to the ground in a effort to break their backs, he used a "rape stand" on them, he even had family pets thrown into the ring with pit bulls because (according to the official USDA report) he thought it was "funny" to watch them get torn apart. This is only some of the twisted shit he did. Those dogs looked up to Vick & all they got in return was hell on earth.

there is the problem that I hear ...part ways in..they say..placing the dogs with people who have experience with the breed. There aren't enough out there to help save the breed...they can only attempt to make a dent in the drama that unfolds with the pitbull breeds. Ban the deed not the breed...and damn those who need their dogs to be a status symbol..like a car...left to rot.

Want to make a difference & save dogs lives?Peta has a petition anyone can sign(Peta web site) which requires M Vick to have psychological testing before he can re-join the NFL. Based on the fact that Vick funded & participated in a massive dogfighting operation (played a direct role in hanging, drowning, shooting & even slamming countless dogs to the ground to break their backs), there's a strong possibility he could be a psychopath. Our kids don't need role models like that! SIGN THE PETITION!

To the AmazingEggplant2: Wrong! That is a common misconception. Peta is sometimes the last stand for animals that have been through the system and are on their last breath. They have sometimes but humanely put animals out of their misery and suffering. They are pro-animal! Please get your facts straight!
