Demographically, a 2-state solution is a misnomer. This 'solution' would see Israel proper reduce in size to a stretch of 15km which they will not accept. There are 800,000 Palestinians already in Israel and another 2 million in West Bank while Gaza is cut off totally. There can only be a 1-state solution with devolved leadership for Jewish and Palestinian areas.

The Israelis don't have to do nothing. The Arabs have 25 counties that have more then enough room to move in to, while the Jewish people have a country the size of new jersey. Even if Palestine is recognized as a state, it wont matter to hamas, they'll just keep launching rockets until they have it all.
