dude you have to understand all cars electronically limited.

130 mph is the set standard by the gov't.

you can have it removed its pertty cheap but you end up voiding all securties and warranties

this car like the m6 was designed to do 180 effortlessly.

Only Super cars are an exception to the 130 mph rule.

they are tied down at 160-170

the lambos, ferraris, mclarens, buggattis, etc that you see on tv review are exceptions beceause they are for test and review purposes.

but there are exceptions

@satyanasi420 not all cars are electronically limited. "M" BMWs have the option from the dealer to have the limiter removed and they are limited at 155mph. most cas are limited art 100-110mph. and those are the american cars. and over seas car has a much higher limiter

jbo321 is right. First I think cars should be limited to 100mph max. Why? The vast majority of drivers don't have the first clue about driving fast. I've been to 180mph and let me tell you your vision tunnels and things happen very very fast. If your planning on driving 130 on public roads, you deserve whatever crash or ticket you get.

I think we have an inexperienced driver here :D,, let me once again state, I am involved with legal street racing (most of the time..) even when its not so legal we make it as safe as possible.

you watch "fast and furious" and think that is how it works but no it isnt,, i believe the highest speed i made it to in a race was 140 mph on a 1 mile strecth followed by some winding through the hills

I take lots of weekend trips to Vegas from la. i take off usually at 2am and the freeway is very big and easy to handle, my 04 m3 can get really close to 160 i think its limited to 155 electronically.

To be honest even doing 160mph can get boring after a few hours and the only thing i worry about is blowing out my transmission.

Yes, because if you knew the history of the CL-Class it used to be called S-Class coupe. They changed the name to CL in 1998. The cars are supposed to be very similar.
