I saw Cowboy in 1977 @ Gusman Hall in downtown Miami. To this day it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. If my mind serves me right I think they were supported by Grinderswitch and one other band that I don't remember(maybe Sea Level). Anyone out there know this show that I'm talking about? As for this song and the new live Boyer and Talton, they are both kick ass stuff, just like the old days.
Lucky enough to see Tommy and Scott on 2/19/2011 at the Full Moon Saloon in Daytona Beach. Awesome music, great guys and a great place to see them. Thanks to everyone who made it happen. Cowboy Reunion, Boyer & Talton 2011. A wonderful event! R.I.P. Topper Price and George Clark

Ol Topper. Used to play and jam with him in Mobile back in the day. He was Jimmy Hall's equal to us; just didn't get out there and show the world. Miss him.
Yes BC596 Topper was a great musician. He's played with more great bands than folks know. Proud to say he was a Birmingham Bluesman. Topper and Upsetters.. To soon to be forgotten.
Hello Tommy Talton, As I said at Grants and H & H, to me, this is the most beautiful song ever written. It has always spoken to my heart. Guess cause of my uncontrollable gypsy soul. Thank you so much Scott Boyer for the beautiful song and God Bless Duane always....Kaye
i had the tv show "my name is earl" on the other night. this song was featured as soundtrack to part of the plot. as i have the album from 1971, and haven't heard this song anywhere else, i thought maybe i was the only person in america that might have recognized it. then i go to youtube and .... the world is a lot smaller than it used to be, isn't it?
Brings back memories this was originally from a 1970 album I believe from Greg Alllman`s backup band called Cowboy, Scotty and Tommy were in that band , sounded great then , sounds great now , that album also brought us , All my friends , what great songwriter, and musicians, thanks guys Eddie B

Awesome song 5/5, though it would be better without the 2 minutes of chat in the beginning. Can't use this in a playlist as it is.

Thanks for uploading. I like the D. Allman version best (cf. Clapton's version), but this is great!

Very good. The slide guitar sounds like a violin. Very unique.
