I can see why it reminds of you of the Pacfic Northwest as its really not that far away all the ore that was mined in this area by the old timers was actually shipped to that very famous smelter in Tacoma that all the ore from around here went to back in those days. Same Pacific Rainforest as your State.....Nothing seperating us but a imagery line on a map.
Great video Daryl. I like the music it just goes with the event. Hey, I'm in the process of building a portable rock pulverizer for sampling some of those rocks for gold. Next time we meet we'll test it out on what you got.
Its a amazing place and I cant wait to get back in there. Yeah when you walk up that creek and look at the canyon walls its like looking at your own geology map of the area. So I will be going back in for further study.
Great place you have there.........I think cuts along the hills are the best places to get A real good feel for the layers that run along the valley.......can be great fun climbing up them and always cool to follow........Take care.
I found an abandon mine in ridge easy access with a large quartz vain I even found a little gold
