Right now we have a corgi from a breed rescue, an Aussie and a malamute both from the animal shelter. All of them are wonderful dogs, though they all have their little "baggage" from their prior lives. Please people, don't buy a dog--save one!

This is why every dog we've ever owned (6 over the last 30 years) has been a rescue. 2 from shelters, 2 from abusive or neglectful situations, 1 stray, and 1 intercepted on her way to the pound. If you're not family with Best Friends Animal Society (Dogtown) in Utah, check out their website and TV show on NGT. I want to live there.

Bless you for saving her! I wish you many happy years together! We have one too; she was a stray and found us! We love her and she too will never go to the shelter! She is very smart and always wants to please, loves doing tricks and learning new ones and of course going for walks!

Oh my, I caught our corgi on the ladder once too, and now I need the tredmil for her, like Sunny has! She loves that "jog" doesn't she? :)
