I'm not not gonna lie that song he wrote is sooooooo lame to my ears. He will never match the raw intensity of songs like OH!Darling, why don't we do it in the road or Helter Skelter
@blume6546 Well dude if your expecting him to write songs as good as those 20 years after all those masterpieces, then you're setting the bar way too high. I think this song is good. It was the eighties too, so music had its certain sound. Listen to George's solo album "Cloud Nine" from 1987. Yeah, it isnt as good as (From the Beatles) 'Something' or (From his solo years) the album "All Things Must Pass", but it is still an incredible album.
I agree. You watch interviews with Neil Armstrong and there is really only 1 question ever asked. What was it like walking on the moon. Here is a man that flew 78 combat mission in Korea, earning three medals, including the Korean Service Medal. Just to begin with in accomplishments outside NASA. But.....who cares right? He walked on the moon. Same with McCartney. He was a Beatle. Nothing else seems to matter in interviews. It's too bad.
@DebbyNJ yes but think about it .... flying a jet plane, OK.... but he walked on the fucking MOON.... count those people on one hand.... that had to be the head rush of a lifetime. nothing compares
Wow! Even in 1986 - at 44 years old - he still had the baby face. Hard to believe that interview was 21 years ago. He made reference to his step-daughter, Heather, being 23. Now, she's 44! The age Macca was then, she is now.
I've just realised this wasn't the interview from 87 that I thought it was.

I agree. But why in almost every interview Macca is being questioned about Lennon.
Mostly questions concern to Beatles, or his relationships with Lennon. Far fewer about Wings, his solo career, new albums and songs.

it's only Terry Wogan, a legend in his own right
