my wife and I were at at Cal speedway that weekend. Hacking came over the loudspeaker talking crap about riders that went out dring a rain practice and talking crap about the DMG. He has no respect for other racers and in my opinion DiSalvo was right to put Jamie in his place.

its sad to see someone like Eslick who I've heard from close friends gets drunk before an AMA race staying ahead of hacking. why should 600 have to race against a 1125cc buell? especially considering the danger and mathing the two up with such different charactaristics. I'm not a hacking fan or a disalvo fan, DMG needs to realize you can't put nascar idealogy into motorcycle racing period! its nice they thought they could make it better but to much change to quick is dangerous with anything!

FIrst off you need to watch what you say without having proof. I am a member of Danny"s family and I can tell you that you are way off. There are few racers that take thier job more seriously then Danny. As for the Buell running with a 600, open your eyes. They finished withing .099 seconds of each other. DMG is looking for paridy within the bikes. But I guess you don't want to see that. You must only like seeing 4 brands racing. Such a narrow mind.

Uh hey buddy, I've been to the track and seen danny? my friends were his teammates when racing for Matsushima and I race myself, and doing so has introduced me to a lot of racers, the motorcyle community is a very small family. Narrow mind huh? how narrow does your mind have to be to consider this hick ass formula to be called racing. The Buell is more cc and horse power this year. The old Buells were crap on power but this one makes 145 at the crank and 130 or so at the wheel according to the testers. No stock/supersport 600 makes that.

Also, DiSalvo was just being a jerk. If you go back and look at when Jamie was talking, Disalvo was also talking to Danny.

Danny has an unfair advantage but it not his fault. He is just racing was DMG allows and doing it well.

New series is a joke, and DMG is going to ruin what was some really great racing. Not saying AMA didn't let it go the past few years, but this is a giant step backwards.

DiSalvo is a turd. I've watched him since he got on the scene, and from the backwards caps, Mr. T hair, etc., he always comes off looking like a twat. Hacking should have just bitch slapped him, but he still made him look like a little bitch. LOL!

I've personally ridden with/against Danny Eslick. Have no doubt that he is a total badass. He is the most underrated rider in the AMA paddock. I'd bet you naysayers that Eslick could get exactly the same result on any of the other bikes on the grid supported by a good team. In fact, I guarantee you that if given the chance to jump on Danny's RMR Buell none of the other top riders would oblige. It's a Buell people. As for DMG, I think they forget this is the U.S.A., not Nazi Germany in WWII.

Jason smiled and nodded in response to whatever Danny said... didn't talk. Respect would be ideal during a press conference, especially if it means that racers aren't distracted while trying to give answers to the press. At the same time, I liked this exchange... I think they should quit being so polite, say what they really mean, and do this more often. Wished this happened when I was dating him. :D
