  • cool cool cool cool. nice and simple! but what about when it rains... arn't you worried about water getting into the amps if the trunk is open for any amount of time?

  • What if you need to get your spare tire?

  • i was wondering. how much did tht cost too do. like the whole set up?

  • very nice, i like the simple panel hiding the sub box install, will look at doin gthe same if i get the 540 im after, cheers for the idea

  • im going to have a bmw 540i. ive heard that if you exceed 1000watts you would need a high performance alternator of some sort and change the gauge wiring to the battery (in this case the battery is located in the trunk) i was wondering if you have done that b/c i want 2 get 2 kicker sub in my trunk but im afraid i wont be able to power them

  • Thats clean as fuck

  • looks good man , did you have to put another battery to run those amps an subs ? or is it wired up to just the single one in the rear?

  • Dude, that's fucking gangster. Love your work on this car. I want to get an e39 too. I'm getting some fantastic influences from you haha, keep up the good work.

  • im sorry but all the show off with the amps and shit just makes it look pathetic.

  • @HQMazzive That's fine but I respectfully disagree, :)

  • Sweet set up

  • Hey Foley,

I was thinking about putting one or two 12 inch type r's in my e36 3 series coupe. I was wondering how they sound, how loud they are, do they make things vibrate and can you really feel them? Also, how did you get the wiring up to the head unit, and is it worth it to get an aftermarket, probably alpine, head unit as well? Thanks, your videos are great keep making them!

  • @poke1dan Type-R's for the money sound pretty good and they hit hard. They crave power in my experience so don't be afraid to throw a little extra at them as they have more than sufficient internal cooling. Your car will def vibrate most notably the trunk lid and the rear parcel shelf. Definitely get an aftermarket head unit if you want to run subs because the OE headunit will make it impossible to tune the amplifier correctly that is.

  • Nice work m8t.

  • @Number1975 Thanks man,

  • what parts do u all need and how much would it cost to get a cheap but loud sound system?

  • @bloodo4 There really isn't such a thing as a cheap and loud sound system. I say buy the best that you can afford and make sure that everything is hooked up properly. That's your best bet.

  • where did they do that at

  • @lunatic9971 High Fidelity Autosport in Newington, Connecticut.

  • how do you like the Alpine PXA-H100... how was the improvement in sound quality after it was installed?

  • @Tantrim Everything seems a little more focused in terms of tuning and it changed the 2V outs on my headunit into 4V outs instead. Just overall it sounds a lot better.

  • and btw how is your system doing ?

  • Still going strong. I actually need to re-tune my system but that's kind of my fault for messing with my head unit settings and not remembering what the original setting are.

  • Nice and simple, its great!

  • I'd say altogether I would just be over the $4,000 mark.

  • YIKES! Must have bought it all new hmm? Either way great system bet it pounds

  • Everything was purchased new. It can get pretty loud but nothing is overpowered, meaning the highs, mids, and lows are all blended together.

  • hey bro could you post another video playing some bone thugs ?

  • Yeah...I could do that. You're going to have to wait for a couple of weeks tough when I'm home for spring break. I don't have my camera at school right now.

  • How Much did your system set you back?
