I don't believe Hanna and Barbera could have made the quality action animation and creative violence in these perfect Tom and Jerry's. It had to have been someone working for them. All the cartoons their own company made show no talent for action at all.

Whoever it was, the style is:

) keep things moving

) both Tom and Jerry score kills

) kill methods are brand new and unpredictable

) deaths involve comedically semi-accurate physics.

) less story, more violence.

) absolutely nothing else!
