What is this thing about Khom? I heard from a Thai guy that the Jayavarman kings were Khom, and that the Khmers were slaves who lived in the jungle. According to him the last Jayavarman (IX) was killed by the Khmers in a rebellion, which made the 'Khom' flee to Ayaddhuya. Trasok Paem was the new Khmer king. And when the "Khom" were there they organised and executed an attack on Angkor in the fourteenth century, which meant the end of temple building and sanskrit inscriptions.

@Ericwvm There are no evidence prove that modern khmer were salves during Angkor. When the western world discovered Angkor, the French, also ask "who built Angkor?" it took them for a few years to find out. They hired Indians and Local monks to read the inscriptions in Angkor, and found out that the languages used during that time are Sanskirt, Pali and Old khmer( which fit with modern khmer language).

The song is from the female singer So Savoeun and the male singer Meas Samon. The name of the song is above, though it can be spelled in different ways. Your best bet for a CD is khmerrocks or phnompehn, both dot coms.
