I wish the Hensia version of this had been made. The costumes don't look great and the effects aren't great compared to gojira. I've seen some posters for later films which use the godzilla from this one.

Three facts as to way Godzilla wound monkey slap Kong :

1: He would simply step on him like roach as Kong tried to get away.

2: As he held his head down, Kong would have been swinging both arms trying hit Godzilla as if he were a 5 year old trying to hit his big brother.

3: Godzilla would have roosted him like a marshmallow, and turned him into a ape torch in 5 seconds.

@kingjamescrab Actually, this version of Godzilla was only 50 or so feet tall. Kong was about 16 in the 1933 film.

I love how wonderfully surreal kaiju films are, especially the promotional composites. Nothing like nowadays where cg monsters are rendered in such a way as to draw attention to every little detail while going 200 miles an hour. At times that can pull me out of the experience more than suitimation ever could.

I think Hollywood need's to get Godzilla right first before they even consider a Remake of this movie. Kong 2005 was okay... Im just not a fan of Kong.. Zilla 98 sucked hard, wasn't even the real Godzilla. So now that Legendary Pictures an Warner Bro's are ''Rebooting'' The American Godzilla Franchise for a 2012 release. If they do well then i would totally consider watching a Remake, This would be Fucking Great. Love this movie tho.

Yes, Legendary Pictures an Warner Bro's the people behind (The Dark Knight an 300) are Rebooting the American Godzilla Franchise an plans to release the film in 2012. It will pay more tribute to the Japanese Character.. So hopefully Godzilla will look like Godzilla, obviously top-notch CGI, probably be a lot darker of a film an give Godzilla his atomic breath.

I am very much looking forward to seeing Godzilla back in theater's.
