In practice Shaq would normally hit more than 90% of his free throws, but we all know how it usually turns out in games. Some things practice can't just fix, and Rondo is a damn good point guard. Leave him alone, mmkay?

His problem was that he was not a shooter (he was so muscle-bound he didn't have the flexibility to shoot right). Rondo is a point-guard. Practice will get you over mental handicaps. Repetition repetition repetition. He just doesn't care.

No, having large muscles doesn't make you inflexible, not properly stretching after work-outs and working on your flexibility does. Practice (yoga) could have MAYBE fixed his flexibility (because that is a limited factor in your body, especially for big guys). Just look at Shaq's shooting form though. 90%, honestly? I'll believe that when I see it. And anyways, the fact that you think Shaq = Rondo is a bit laughable. They are totally different.

And as hard as it may be for you to believe, Phil Jackson coached him and watched him during practice, Shaq often even brings it up when the subject of free throws is discussed and a lot of his former teammates all say the same thing, the guy is fantastic with free throws in practice, but in game time he's so scared of blowing the game by missing free throws that he bricks a ton of them. It's a mental thing for him

I'm not sure what this has to do with anything, I know that Rondo is a bad free throw shooter in games.

Thing is he drains just about every shot he takes in practice, hell even during pre game warmups. Go to a Celtics game if you have a chance and tell me how many times you see Rondo miss. It isn't a lot. Once the game is on though, kid can't seem to find the basket. It's a mental thing, and practice can't fix it. Leave him alone.
