omg I cried when I watched your video this time when you were talking about how big you were, cuz thats where I am now... I know exactly what your talking about and ugh I wish I could find some good sites to get jeans on in m size, and I hate that game too... i just.. Im so happy for you i wish I could give you a hug! its true though, plus size stores do have a max, and its saddening. I love you.
I am glad the video touched you. I know how I felt when I couldn't go to the "big girl" stores anymore. I went into a bit of a depression, which of course packed on more pounds! If you would like, email me and I can send you my jeans and/or let you know where I would shop. I was particular about NOT having the stereotypical "elastic waist" fat girl jeans, so I actually don't own any that don't have a "real" waist with a button and zipper. You'll get there and I am here cheering for you!! *hugs*
Thanks! I do try to keep reminding myself what a gift this is and I need to be thankful for the blessing of it regardless of the little rocks on the path!
Thanks! I can't wait to get some cheap clothes and look good in them. I just need to get some more weight off before I know I will find sizes in the thrift stores. I am in-between my sizes (old clothes and "saved" clothes) and it's driving me crazy! I will be OK for a while with the "saved" clothes through the summer, but there *hopefully* will be issues once the fall rolls around and I can get some new duds for the new school year! Thanks!
what exactly is a "regular" size? I have been 32 34 jeans for ever!! I long for the days when I can go to walmart - clearance isle of course- and buy some cheap jeans for a change!! way to go on getting in the old clothes, and btw you look so pretty and happy in this video - congratulations!!!!
I consider a "regular" size to be anything below size 14. These are sizes you can't get in plus size stores and are in the regular sections of the Walmart, Target, etc. I do feel better and thanks for the compliment! You'll be there with me in the "regular plus sizes" soon!!
This BBQ shack's brisket is finger-licking good! I am worred about the amount of fat I am intaking since I can't seem to keep down "lean meats" (chicken, lots of fish, and turkey). I do better with beef and cheese, which have a bunch of fat. I am doing well with the carbs, but I am concerned with the fat. Thanks for the compliment!
I am still in shock that I could even get into those jeans! I have some shirts I am confident that I may actually be able to wear again. I just have to get them out of storage. I am a little scared that they still won't fit and I will be disappointed.
I'm so glad you tried brisket. It is so awesome, isn't it? There is no reason why we shouldn't be able to enjoy food! So great to find the right things. i just bought 2 more big bags of tilapia today. Gotta love those Wow moments! you don't know how happy I am for you right now. There will be so many more wow moments to come. I can't wait to hear about them all! Big hugs to you, have a great week!
*Hugs* Thanks again April! I think the BBQ shack guys are going to get sick of me because it is just that good! I tried the pulled chicken and that didn't sit well (mom "inherited" the rest of that). I am debating whether to try the pulled pork, but I am drooling just thinking about that brisket!! :)
I am so going to get some today! I wasn't in that part of town (we're on Spring Break, so I don't need to go on-campus), but I need to make a special trip!! Oh, I nixed the grill pan because they wanted $50 for one! I got myself a clearance wok instead ($15) and some silpats ($20 each). That ate my Bed Bath & Beyond budget for a while. :(
i hear ya gf. i weigh 575. i can buy jewelry and shoes. i have to sew the rest. i do buy sears big n tall mens tshirts. im so glad youve shrunk up to a smaller size. lane bryant managers everywhere are crying. waves~~~
Thanks for sharing! I am do not sew well, so that was never an option. I think you misunderstood though...I can NOW go to the Lane Bryant and fit into their sizes, so I think they won't be crying, but rubbing their hands together in anticipation for all the money I may drop in their stores again!
i'm glad you're feeling better! What a great "wow moment" story! I don't blame you for wanting to cry! I wanted to cry just listening to your story! :)
You are doing fine. You ae lucky that you found out early about the infection. i just love that color of lipstick What kind is it? sorry but I ha to ask. I'm not good with finding good lipcolor that I like.:)
I am lucky about the infection. I thought it was a bruise and my mom thought it looked weird. Well, when it got bigger, red, and hurt, it was off to the ER with me and the rest is history!
I know what you mean about lipstick. I am 1/2 Italian and 1/2 Anglo-mutt, so I tan easily, have a green undertone, but am pale in the winter, which sucks when trying to get make-up! It's Winedrop long-lasting by Almay. You can get it anywhere and really does stay on your lips and doesn't wipe off.
Thank you! I think it's a work in progress, but it was almost like someone above knew I needed a little lift to keep going and getting into old jeans was just wonderful! :)

i love brisquet and when it is made right, its tender and soft and easy to digest.
i hope the infection goes away soon.
protein is important in losing weight, at least for us because of malabsorption, so that makes kind of sense, you know.
you look fabulous! good luck for this week!
