  • wats da name of dis movie

  • LOL 0:47

  • ONE OF THE SICKEST FLIX .............E.V.E.R.R.R.R.R.R.R.R.R.R.. FRANKIE'S A NEW FAV OF MINE..I GOT OUTLAW BROS. FOR CHRISTMAS THAT RULES TOO FRANKIE'S THE MAN! R.I.P LAM CHING YING HE WAS A BEAST TOO

  • It's my favorite too.

  • In my honest opinion, this is the greatest choreographed kung fu movie of all time. Those punches and kicks look absolutely real, and are so smooth. I love this movie. I once watched this movie everyday for two weeks. Easily my favorite Kung Fu flick. I personally think this movie is the best.

  • Good day WHERE can I find the FULL MOVIE in English and not Mandarin orange..lol

  • @Vvrroommm the movie's called prodigal son. i bought it online. The Madarin version is pretty bad-ass especially the training scenes.

  • which one is dragon???

  • @SaiyanPride51 The yellow one. BTW try and look up dragon style on this site, you wont find it. OR not nearly as much as you would other styles.

  • @SaiyanPride51 in yellow is the dragon

  • na verdade é wing chun vs hung gar !

  • Those damn finger rings of his are really hurting me!

  • Now that guy's.... got good wing chun ;)

  • i used to love this film. i haven't seen it for years though. there's some genius in it. especially the two brothers.

  • Press 4 and wait :))

  • Both styles are invented by Ng Mui

  • Nice coeography

  • I've never seen it dubbed. I always watch in original language dialogue. This is one of the best kung fu movies. Biao is the actual star, but his teacher the opera star has some great fight scenes. Sammo Hung directs and plays his other teacher which introduces comedy into it, but it isn't like the usual Jackie Chan or Sammo Hung films there is blood and people get killed pretty brutally. It was filmed on the main land I believe it is dated, but still has amazing stunts.

  • That was Yeung Biao who popped up at the end there wasn't it?

  • Nice fight! :-)

  • After 30 years this movie still rocks. One of the best ( if not The best) Kung-Fu movie ever created. For me.

  • those damned finger rings are really hurting me!

charlie bit me, that really hurt!

  • @StopFlaggingVideos LMAO!!

  • Why is the top comment a story about a guy getting on top of another guy. AND NOT ABOUT THE VIDEO.

  • "hes damn finger rings are reali hurting me" the voice sounded like a babys lool!

  • where is the WC?

  • ok. so flying guillotine, ravenous, and the good the bad and the weird cant beat this. also drunken master. whatever. suckas.

  • nice exchange

  • Those damn finger rings of his are really hurting me!

  • 1:02 biggest bitch slap in the universe.

  • Leung Yee Tai. is dead in real life the person who played him R.I.P Lam Ching-ying

died 8/11/1997 aged 44 liver cancer

  • 1.02 Pak Dar :) Great Wing chun !

  • Remember I was here.Thai 5:53 AM 4/7/2011

  • I can understand the cantonese version, but I still prefer the hilarious camp english dub... its just that good

  • "...those damn finger rings are really hurting me.." .. lol! Love it! x

  • Love it! x

  • Remember I was here.Thai

  • 1:01!!! Yi Tai senses the finger twitch and BAAAM

  • The character name: Leung Yee Tai.

  • who is the guy who uses wing chun (character name not real name)

  • Wing Chun versus Pak Mei White Eyebrow; traditional enemies.

  • at least the guy in yellow has honor.

  • The guy in brown has the face of Robocop XD

  • Comment removed

  • this was actually a golden harvest film they made sum of the best. W/chan, sammo, nd biao

  • guy with eyebrow vs guy with no eyebrow this may be a epic fight

  • Wow I've been looking for a vid like this.. Great

  • One of the BEST!

  • Their hair style made it epic.

  • Comment removed

  • That must be the most amazing Wing Tjun scene i've seen in a while

  • I figth a little bit of dragon style and this video is beautifull, it shows some of the essenci of dragon, wisdom...

  • 2:07 STFU! hahaha! Great Video.

  • Bey Logan's favourite ever fight scene, and it's easy to see why.

  • frankie chan is a PAi MEI and Tae Kwon Do expert. This is Pai Mei he is using, there is an interview on youtube wherre he talks about it.

  • 1:02 Punch ...IN THE FACE!!

  • Sorry, NOT dragon style!

  • Thats not Dragon its EAGLES CLAW , very ancient style of kung fu and very effective

  • Pak Mei

  • WOOO!! nicenes..where can i purchase this?

  • @TRUEFUNKSOULDIER

I usually go to HMV or whatever, but the local one here closed down a while back

There used to be a Hong Kong Legends website too, but I think it's popped it's clogs also! Still working on my HKL collection :)

  • @TRUEFUNKSOULDIER I take it you havent heard of Ebay or Amazon?

  • @supmayne1 LOL..ok man ok...ill rephrase.where can i purchase this for a fair price?

  • @TRUEFUNKSOULDIER Ebay or Amazon... I got it off Amazon for less than 10 bucks. If that isnt fair I dont know what is.

  • @moneymike1185 y do u disrespect me cause of my opinion.ur ganna die earlier than expected

  • hahah he's got no eyebrows lol

  • the fights r better than ip man

  • @750blood stfu

  • The man is in yellow is the Duke. And off course the colours says too. Yellow is the Tiger, green and red is the dragon. And the Dragon moves round and circle, and this fight the Duke use a lot straight to head and straight to the arms and that's the Tiger move. Least details is perfect in this movie. This film is a very good kung fu film by Sammo Hung. Respect to him.

  • I'm really sorry but I think the title isn't good. This is not a fight between Wing Chun vs Dragon, this is a fight Whing Chun (Leung Yee Tai master of Wing Chun in 19 century) and a Tiger claw. This is a fictional fight, but when this fight was in the emperor and his family use the white tiger claw kung fu.

  • 0:25 - 0:30 greatest exchange is martial arts history

  • @lordzhuge I agree! Absolutley stunning to watch!

  • my favourite fight in the movie. Such strong form and technique. kung-fu movies of this calibur is rare today

  • Epic!

  • who is who

  • who was usingg wing chun?

  • @monkeykidXD grey

  • I wish i could find this for less than like 40 bucks...

  • @supmayne1

Find a farmer's market somewhere around your area and you can probably buy it for less than $5.

  • GUNG FU

  • Comment removed

  • "if he wasn't sick, you'd have NO chance..."

"shut up." ie. he's a good fighter....don't talk stupid smack to him.

a lot of good fight scenes out there, but love this one.

    great flick.

  • Man, the dub and sound effects totally kills all the fighting in this video.

  • HAHAAH the wingchun guy has wery funny dub voice

  • @TangASD

Got 'The Prodigal Son' in my Hong Kong Legends collection; Lam Ching Ying plays Leung Ye Tai a gay Wing Chun master, hence the odd "accent" :)

  • @itchytoke

lol xD the movie looks nice though

  • People watch dubbed versions of kung fu? ... Completely different story line its funny

although I have a few that have only dubbed versions

and back when people did like 8-15 moves in a single cut instead of like 2-4

  • lol hey i have this video in vhs, i never knew the name since it was written in different language.

  • His wing chun fist is awesome.

  • Great film, highly recommended. Better in original language if you can find it. This and the Ip Chun movie(s) are a treat for all martial artists, and wonderfully precise in technique. Samo really is a star.

  • Been trying to get this movie... I hear it is one of the best movies with Sammo Hung and One of the best fight scenes displaying Wing Chun

    Looks damn good...

  • @supmayne1 still looking for it i sell it on ebay let me know thanx

  • only if it is cheap...

  • That foo had a kung fu seizure daaaaaayyyum

  • This is one of the best shaw brothers movies. Sammo Hung was also amazing as lung yi ti big brother. if it was`nt for the fact that i was already studying internal arts i would have def learned wing chung

  • The cheoriogrophy* in this fight is

    so fast and professional. I've

only scene a few fights like this

other times the dights I see aren't

    this fast.

  • mew i think ip man wing chun is much stronger in terms of demonstrating the style's use... this wing chun is more snakey and it didint abide by the body line theory of wing chun very well. too much wasted movement. 1:01 was hilarious

  • @ TheGreatXavier

Man are you so wrong. That "snakey" style of Wing Chun is called "Side Turning" , and there are many variations on the theme in some lineages. in SOME systems-it is VASTLY more powerful than any "Forward Facing" or Yip Man systems, because of the waist generated power. I know, I'm a practitioner ^.^ ALso remember in the movie Leung Yee Tai (this actor) is Smaller than his Brother, Wong Wah Bo, who is the forward facing Master. So you get to see both theories in the movie.

  • but.. Yip Man generates power from the waist..the movement is limited, but its the idea of getting your whole body behind the punch/weight into the punch. dont get me wrong tho your prolly right as you practice these other forms of wing chun, but i find that incorporating the parts of the wing chun i practice is much more effective when destroying a man.

  • @TheGreatXavier

    Lmao!

Your only 18 wtf could YOU possibly know about "destroying a man". Gimme a fking break kid, ur still wet behind the ears rofl.

  • aw dont you know, age is not the ONLY factor in experience. an 18 year old may be well versed in something a 40 year old is not. perhaps the word "destroying" may be a bit hyperbolic, but i HAVE beaten two men into submission. and i spar with people alot, although its not serious, i usually come out on top because of overwhelming force. soooooooo ya destroying was the word i could think of at the time. im assuming your older than me, so be more mature, and take some advice. never underestimate!

  • @TheGreatXavier so experience means nothing, from your standpoint being youth. ok. youth is strong chi.

chi without guidance is of course, form without meaning. strong of course, but lacking focus. you can have all the energy you want in the entire world, if you cannot focus it, you cannot do shit. its just the first step.

  • @spadehatesscrewtube no experience is everything! my idea is that an 18 year old could have experience in something that a 40 year old does not. I understand what youre saying and I agree, youth is fire without control while experience is the everlasting embers within. I have grown quite a bit since I was 16 (Im 19 now) and I have taught people more than twice my age about maturity and control.

  • @TheGreatXavier well, in that someone in their youth has direct experience that an older person does not, you are correct. only that however, also perhaps the older people you are teaching know you simply need something constructive to fill your time and are helping you in their own way :) as i said, you are taking the first step. but hey! it's a good one, congratulations

  • @spadehatesscrewtube Well perhaps.. I always respect my elders anyway :) thank you very much

  • @TheGreatXavier of course, we are unique in that we managed an intelligent discussion whereas 99% of you tube is arguments and/or fighting.

  • @spadehatesscrewtube lol so true

  • Side turning is basic move in wing chun , by the way since the style had such a long story , many schools have appeared and it's very hard to determine which is the official WIng Chun . By the way , i think the Dragon Style in this clip is very similar to a sub-style of a wing chun school in Southern China , This style divides the systems in 5 strike : dragon tiger , snake , phoenix , and ... , the dragon style is similar to the dragon fist of this school

  • I would not watch a martial arts movie for it's dialogue...so the dubbing quality is inconsequential.

  • lol @ horrible acting, voice over and sound.

so, the guy in yellow.. that's genuine dragon style?

  • This is not dragon style, he was doing mantis

  • @TheDwanya

he does pak mei - white eyebrow

  • @sampochin wing chun it is man (unless you're joking-so..yeah) and the other (yellow clothes) looks more like tiger (fu jow) style but dragon

  • @koutsompiskoto i know yee tai is doing wing chun i was on about the other guy frankie chan or something?

  • @sampochin - Pak Mei or Southern Dragon Shape Boxing??? It looks more like Lung Ying Kuen to me.

  • @Koryuhoka the actor said in an interview that i't bakmei

  • This is a good example of why i bought the dvd for the cantonese. Possibly the worst english dubbing i've ever heard

  • I can do all those moves. LOL

  • OWND! @1:01

  • i still cant get over the voice they used hahahahah ... He sounds like a wimpy nerd that just went through puberty. Good movie though :)

  • lol dragon style kung fu is beast

  • The Prodigal Son, AKA Pull No Punches has the best wing chun choreography of any film.

  • How does it compare to Ip Man?

  • Both great films! But I thought for pure wing chun techniques without the sensationalism, the fight choreography was better in The Prodigal Son.

  • very good kung fu movie.

  • great wing chun!

  • his damn finger rings are hurting me lOL.

  • @ohsnapTIMOTHY that was classic lmao.

  • hahahah right at 45 seconds the voice is so goofy "oww hes hurt-ting me" ahahaha

  • @Mofat8 hahaha lol very funny

  • dude what is this movie called i love old kung fu movies!!

  • "THE PRODIGAL SON"

    Superb choreography.

My favorite kung fu movie of all time. Master Kill (36 Chambers of Shaolin is 2nd place).

  • classy fellows

  • wtf

    no eyebrows

    but good fight

  • Yeah that dude doesn't have eyebrows because he had to keep them shaved for his job (opera singer) in this movie. Back in the old days, they had to shave their eyebrows so as to be able to draw make up on easier.

  • movie's name pls? =]

  • @hentora the prodigal son

  • gotta love the dubs...

  • this is ma favorite film of all time in kung fu along with ip man i've seen this film a hundred times

  • Lam Ching-Ying is wonderful in this as he was in all the films he stared in.

  • thats Egles Claw,not Dragon

  • I fucking love this movie. Matrix aint got shit on this. Great fight scene.

  • totally agree.

  • That's Eagle's Claw, not Dragon.

  • Which one is doing Wing Chun ?

  • @360Warlock im guessing the one with the grey clothes i noticed something about when they put the back of their hands next to each othernotice yellow mans claw shape im guessing that part of the dragon style ... or as clintonm03 said its an eagles claw ...

  • wait wait how is that wing chun?

  • he uses alot of biu jee

  • actually, in fact he is using a mixture of cat and tiger.

  • caterpillar attack style :)

  • To my knowledge one guy is doing wing chun and the other praying mantis!!! Other wc films would be warriors two and of course ip man :)

  • No it is Dragon Syle boxing. This type of dragon style was also created by the nun who created Wing Chun hundreds of years ago. They would be very closely matched. Both will die fighting.

  • @antoine9891 of old age ?

  • I don't understand what your are saying.. at old age? I am not trying to offend you. The southern dragon style was created by the nun Ng Mui created the style. The nun Ng Mui also created the Wing Chun Style. Both were created together in the southern temple. The styles would be evenly matched. The Wing Chun style emphasizes fluidity and redirection. Dragon style evasion and control. The masters would probably never hit each other.

I am a practioner of Wing Chun. 11 years.

  • @antoine9891 thats what i ment they would have died of old age on the battle field ... or maybe starvation lol

    i wanna learn wing chun

  • In other words the person Wing Chun (founder of Wing Chun Style) and the nun Ng Mui are one?

  • any other films with good wing chun in em?

  • ps. i love the dubbing. as i saw one dude put it, "so bad it's awesome." lol.

    my sentiment exactly.

  • the coreography in movies like this area amazing

  • damn these guys should be in UFC!!!!

  • thats not wingchun

  • One of the best wing chun films EVER!!!!!

  • no........the best wing chun movie EVER!!

  • alguien podria decirme el nombre de esta pelicula¿?

  • Best fight scene. Period.

  • leftstache gets beat

  • so this is what a pub fight is like in china "you stole my honour" lmao

  • guy in the yellow sounds like john lennon

  • great movie. love this english dub version

  • im pretty sure its white eyebrow

  • CHINA POWAH!

  • amazing film but as always, awful dubbing. This sounds like a fight between julian clarey and a football comentator lol

  • Couldn't agree more.

  • so bad it's good...lol....

  • They fighting for 2 hours instead of finish the fight as soon as possible. Just like bruce lee would.

  • love this movie

  • HEY ! is that Yeun Biao I mean !! Shenglong Jackie Chans brother ?
