Why does the British pilot insist the entry to good wingovers are important? I think gradually building up to bigger wingovers is safer. Excellent video.
it is important. but you only do that when you're already good at it. to practice it's certainly better to do lower ones but always in good timing and rhythm.
Great Video although I think more emphasis should be put on safety when practicing wingovers as they can be very dangerous. Always practice with lots of altitude and preferably above water. If you don't have the timing just right on a big wingover and suffer a collapse, spin, you will need the recovery time or time to throw your reserve.
I don't understand why they have to use soo much brake input: after the 3rd one I just need about 10cm input and go way higher than the wing,

Defo, try and do a big one with off timing and outer collapse almost certain. Did it in Turkey loads of times :)
