@TheMinijas There is actually a book of Taka (scar) and Mufasa. I think its called "Two Brothers" Its actually quite sad about what has happen to scar. It was done by a water buffalo i believe, if i remember right as there could only be one king and who ever brought this kill down was king, thats why scar says "when it comes to brute strength, i guess im in the shallow end of the dream pool". This book was apparently made before the movie "Lion King"

@dragon54435 Scar got his scar when he tried to prove to his father that he was a stronger lion than Mufasa. Scar told Mufasa to go to the water hole to help the buffalos share the water. Scar then told the buffalos to attack Mufasa (because he told them Mufasa was doing something, I forgot what). The buffalos chase Mufasa, and the plan goes wrong when the buffalos also chase Scar. A buffalo runs his horn over Scar's eyes. Taka (Scar) changed his name to Scar to be reminded of his mistake.

@dragon54435 According to the book series they put out after the first movie, he got it in a hunting accident, when he was out trying to prove as a cub that he was better than Mufasa was. He was told not to go, he went anyway, Mufasa had to save his life when he screwed up and the scar resulted. Whether or not that's canon, who knows, but that's what the books said.

His birth name is Taka which translates into Future if I'm not mistaken.

I'm pretty sure he was trampled by a stampede of Wildebeest as cub which lead to the scar.

@XodiaqKey I'm pretty sure it translates into "Future, Desire, Wish, Ask/Request, Inclination, Going to, About to, Garbage, Filth." I'm guessing "Future" is not the top reason they picked that name for this lion.

basically he got his scar from an accident. he tried to set a trap for mufasa which would make him look bad and opefully shame him in ahadi's eyes. the plan backfried and sca got hurt by a charging rhino. previously named taka, he told all to call him scar to remind himof his promise to become king (and he was very proud)

@dragon54435 From what I've read Scar got his scar because of a trap he laid for Mufasa. Mufasa was suppose to get attacked by a water buffolo but it back firea dn scar got attacked instead. His name isn't even Scar it's just the name he gave himself after getting the scare lol.
