hey guys i have one of these hate to say it but the likely hoofd that youll get 300k out of that v6 is slim to non the all eat cams like its there job and if you wana be crafty do what i did. put a sb ford in it with a paxton s.c.
It was made with a joint venture between Peugot, Renault, Volvo, hence the PRV symbol. They are very reliable engines. You can get 300k miles out of them.
@jammer96 It was actually one of the worst engines Volvo used in their cars in the 80's, aside from that VW diesel which didn't last long either compared to Volvos own B-series motors.

No, It's a 2.8 liter PRV V6. Same engine that is used in the Delorean DMC-12.

I had a volvo 260 [similar to this car but an estate/shooting brake. With its big Renault V6 engine it was a lively car.
