@sbunkboy3 I was using 3ds max's built in particle systems to generate the particles, a vortex system to get it to simulate the tornado and particle 'bombs' to simulate the explosives. You couldn't say this is a scientific simulation since the units used were generic... but i've found that you can get close enough for proof of concept.
Found this after lurking on reddit, and am very interested in this idea. What kind of model were you using?
