My favourite female comic character: Number Seven from The Umbrella Academy. :) I aspire to be like her, she's the odd one out but always seems somehow stronger than the rest!
Hmm.. I think my favourite female comic character is Harley Quinn. Probably because of her personality and the way she acts, and her looks is really unique :D
Yeah, so I haven't drawn since high school (which was more than a few minutes ago) & I'm just now getting into the idea of using PSE to draw but using the Wacom Pad is a little tougher than anticipated. I use it all the time for masks and whatever but to actually do a drawing? I have found that I end up drawing in an unwanted direction. I guess cause I'm looking at a screen as apposed to looking right at the paper. Any tips or is just a matter of retraining the brain? Thanks. Also nice vids.
@mrttou If you can afford it, get a Cintiq. It feels natural. But for training your mind to get used to a standard tablet, draw a bunch of dots on the screen, then connect them in random ways. This helps train the brain to work in this new way.
although im not much of a marvel fan or any super comics (with the exception of the 'runaways') but i have to admitt the art is seriously cool. most comic books i read are dc/vertigo titled like lucifer and 100 bullets. im currently reading fables, unwritten, john constatine: hellblazer, and ofcouse steven kings': american vampire
My favorite comic book character hands down is Emma Frost. She has style and grace, she can be a cold, mega bitch but she also can be vulnerable and caring when need be. I also was really staring to like Kitty Pride when Joss Whedon was writing for X-Men, he instilled a few Buffy the Vampire Slayer characteristics in her which I loved.
Black cat by far one of my fav. She has such a sex appeal and she's also a bad ass when it comes down to it, or Harley Quinn, because she's wild and crazy and is also a bad ass.
I would have to say Catwoman. She teeters on the edge of villainy and heroism. She has had a number of interesting costumes over the years. She is full of grace and sex appeal and then there is the whole whip thing.
female character : elektra.. xD i love the combat side to it and the style and design of her, the weapons she uses (sais) are pretty cool too
male character: definatly ironman!! :L i know u didnt ask for male but since ironman 2 the film is coming outt oday i thought it was an appropriate time! :L
my favorite female comic book character is Harley Quinn. I like her quirky personality, and she can be downright hilarious. I love the design for her (the original, I don't like the arkham asylum outfit very much), and I think her backstory's pretty cool.
marvel? x-23. i like her overall design and the "pinocchio" idea (a weapon trying to be a human) instead of the human trying to be a weapon, like with most "dark" characters.

Not much of a comic fan myself, but I am quite a fan of the Marvel art style.
I hope to start work on a Webcomic collab with a friend of mine soon.
Wonderful video, simple yet completely helpful :)
