TheAmazingAtheist is going against and bashing Ron Paul, but who does he like then? If you take a look at everyone else and what they want to do, is Ron Paul that bad for president? Ron Paul is against SOPA, PIPA, NDAA, Government, Military Spending, War and over spending. Are those things easy to ignore because he is religious? I don't understand, I want TheAmazingAtheist to make a video talking about the person who will be better than Ron Paul and why.
The fact that he does not want to seperate church from state should scare all of you, but it does not. Why? You are all christians, you love the idea of forcing public prayers in schools and further brainwash your children to deny science.

People want to vote for RP because they're lazy. Deep down they know that it's the same thing that happens every 40 years: mini-revolution. This is even mentioned in the "Crisis of Democracy" book written by the Trilateral Commission right after the late 60's mini-revolution. They pointed out how one happens every 38 (roughly 40) years, or so. People who want change through voting are deluded: the system is rigged and only protesting and striking will help. People like RP because he's genuine. He's the only genuine person running for pres. His ideas are CRAZY, though. He wants corporations to have more power...uhhhh...they already have too much. What is a CT?
I don't trust the State because I subscribe to the Agorist and market-anarchist philosophies, which more or less define the State as coercive and forceful. Everything the State does is backed up with the threat of force. I want a legitimate government based on consent and voluntary association, not a forceful State.
My original rant was that SOME people are distrusting the government just because they are young, can't think for themselves, or try to be a "rebel" for the sake of being a rebel, ascribing to conspiracy theories. I don't think your idea of a forceful state is necessarily that. I am just sick of the comic-book-like views of the State while people like the author bash religion as "fairy tales" and yet believe the Holocaust was hoaxed.

It's just as likely that all religions are fairy tales as it is that one of them is true. I would never say I'm certain that any particular one is true, unless I plan to use my own personal religious experience (which is not scientific evidence) as evidence, in which case all I would be able to argue for is

Everything boils down to individual liberty. Potential or not each person has the right to try what they began, as long as they are not hurting anyone else. Right now we have a fascist state wherein the corporations decide whether we are viable or not based on our economic class; philosophically the same as deciding when a fetus is a "good enough" human being to have the right to live. This is so frustrating that I'm sure my haste has made me sound like an idiot like this guys haste has.

@toastm4n Well, I don't believe that Paul personally agrees with gay marriage, he still is a fundamental Christian, however as a believer in freedom and liberty for all, he also doesn't want to dictate to people how to live their lives. I am almost positive that if Paul's church were to sanction gay marriage he would be looking for a new church. Paul sees it as a state issue, which is fine. The GLBT’s will just have to duke it out state by state which is what we are doing anyway.
@toastm4n Also, I think Paul is right that our military is over extended, and we need to scale back, however I would be more in favor of keeping say 50 to 75 oversea bases. There are still plenty of countries that welcome our presence; 900 is way too may however. I am a combat vet so I feel I have a small say.
@toastm4n I don't agree with Paul on everything; however I also don't believe that if he wins he will get his way 100%. He may just be the extreme needed right now however to make some real progress in the roll back our federal government needs to undergo in order to save this country. I believe that the libertarian philosophy works at the federal level, but not at city and country levels, otherwise you end up with places like Houston, which is under zoned and not well planned.

Hey stop picking on the Amazing Athiest. Granted he is fat, and makes political videos while sitting on a swing, and states "facts" that aren't true. What is a CT?
I don't trust the State because I subscribe to the Agorist and market-anarchist philosophies, which more or less define the State as coercive and forceful. Everything the State does is backed up with the threat of force. I want a legitimate government based on consent and voluntary association, not a forceful State.

My original rant was that SOME people are distrusting the government just because they are young, can't think for themselves, or try to be a "rebel" for the sake of being a rebel, ascribing to conspiracy theories. I don't think your idea of a forceful state is necessarily that. I am just sick of the comic-book-like views of the State while people like the author bash religion as "fairy tales" and yet believe the Holocaust was hoaxed.

Does the author believe the Holocaust is a hoax, or does he believe it is being used as propaganda to vindicate Israel? I haven't watched many of his videos.
It's just as likely that all religions are fairy tales as it is that one of them is true. I would never say I'm certain that any particular one is true, unless I plan to use my own personal religious experience (which is not scientific evidence) as evidence, in which case all I would be able to argue for is

Myself being not only an atheist but a supporter of the Neotech philosophy must judge people on a segmented basis therefore I support Ron Paul not on our few disagreements instead on our many similar views. Everything boils down to individual liberty. Potential or not each person has the right to try what they began, as long as they are not hurting anyone else. Right now we have a fascist state wherein the corporations decide whether we are viable or not based on our economic class; philosophically the same as deciding when a fetus is a "good enough" human being to have the right to live. This is so frustrating that I'm sure my haste has made me sound like an idiot like this guys haste has.

I agree with your video so completely. I too am an atheist, and I am gay. Ron Paul may be a true christian, and he may not be the best supporter of gay marriage, but there are SOOOOO many more important issues to tackle right now.

@toastm4n Well, I don't believe that Paul personally agrees with gay marriage, he still is a fundamental Christian, however as a believer in freedom and liberty for all, he also doesn't want to dictate to people how to live their lives. I am almost positive that if Paul's church were to sanction gay marriage he would be looking for a new church. Paul sees it as a state issue, which is fine. The GLBT’s will just have to duke it out state by state which is what we are doing anyway.

@toastm4n Also, I think Paul is right that our military is over extended, and we need to scale back, however I would be more in favor of keeping say 50 to 75 oversea bases. There are still plenty of countries that welcome our presence; 900 is way too may however. I am a combat vet so I feel I have a small say.

@toastm4n I don't agree with Paul on everything; however I also don't believe that if he wins he will get his way 100%. He may just be the extreme needed right now however to make some real progress in the roll back our federal government needs to undergo in order to save this country. I believe that the libertarian philosophy works at the federal level, but not at city and country levels, otherwise you end up with places like Houston, which is under zoned and not well planned.
