  • Lady bugs smell so bad when you smash 'em.

  • Someone needs to post this with an audio track of helicopter pilots getting ready to take off and the roters going as the wings flap.

  • oh thats fucking gross

  • When the wings extend and it sits there for a little bit(yes I know it is very slow mo so it was what.. maybe half a second real time?) it is almost like it is doing a pre-flight check and making sure all systems are a go. Very interesting. beautiful video.

  • I'm stoned

  • I hate violence but I loooooove paintballs on bugs and shit.

  • Just realized how stupid a ladybug looks when flying.

  • diarea

  • I wish I could flap my arms that slow and just take off.

  • I can't masturbate to this...

  • hahaha there needs to be a super slow motion of a huge bird eating the ladybug

  • @nocturnalpedophile We did shoot and post a lizard eating a cricket.

  • BUT WILL IT BLEND????

  • And because of this video ladies and gentlemen is how we discovered portable lady bug wings that make you fly.

  • looked like wow that was EPIC transformers wow shit wow, just wow. so epic. strike the weak point for double damage. hit it in the air for tripple massive damage points, the heart of the bug is exposed one shot one kill. wow it was so epic. just epic. it reminds me of a walking ladybug transforming into a flying ladybug. omg wow

  • @sproutmanv2 Oh god, I didn't realize that post had 75 likes. Approval by Internet strangers has made MY day! I am most humbled and glad to have been of service, sirrah! (: May your day be full of giant, terrifying slo-mo creatures and satisfying quick time events.

  • Ladybugs will never be cute again.

  • fast forward please :)

  • Houston,we have lift-off

  • ehh first time ive ever seen that=P

  • I always thought they flapped with the orange part.

  • That looks uncomfortable.

  • great little video, however, millions of lady bugs have died in the time it took to get to the part where the bug opens its wings : (

  • its like the bug is amazed it can fly with its legs sticking out

  • I wonder how many frames per second life is.

  • @HaywarAUS I was wondering that myself the other day.... how many "fps" does the average human eye do?

  • @MrNinjaMittens 24 to 25. It's common knowledge, look it up anywhere

  • @Solice82 uuuh no.

  • @Solice82 No, 24fps is what most film-makers make their movies run at. I make animations myself and when I change the fps from 24 to 48 I can see a big difference, I see the difference in smoothness. We dont really see in frames because frames and man made to create the illusion of movement. But if it was in fps we would see a lot faster than 24 fps.

  • @G3org3Master You're very right about that George, but you cannot ask yourself how many frames per second do you have to have to make motions look fluid, or how many frames per second makes the movie stop flickering.

I understand what you mean, I am coming short on characters remaining, but if you want a fully explained answer in detail, try reading this. takes 5 minutes :)

    100fps. com /how_many_frames_can_humans_see. htm

    Without the spaces, ofcourse.

  • @Solice82 thanks you seem cleverer than the others on youtube :P

  • @HaywarAUS That depends on whose life. You mean a humans? Hunting birds have incredible "fps"

  • @HaywarAUS the speed of light is the fastest information can travel, but its not in frames, its weird. Humans and animals view things but we have a type of post-processing so we see everything about 0.3 seconds after it REALLY is there. Our brains try to predict things for instance a ball moving so we can catch it. We have the capability to learn faster reflexes. (making the neurons go a shorter path). Birds need better processing but also fast reflexes so a lot of their brains is for that. :D

  • Took forever for it to start flapping. It's like it forgot what to do...

  • Amazing!

  • Thumbs up if you are leaning on ur left arm :)

  • @Sarlathebirdlover WTF!!! That's exactly what I was doing. No 009 Sound System or Finger Eleven = Lean on left hand

  • Press 8 and *happy face* will be revealed on its back.

  • I bet the lady bird was like:

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

Well, thats if it was doing it in real time that slowly.

  • Amazing..ive seen lady bugs fly but i had no idea their wings that came from underneath their shell were so large and they almost flap infront of the bug..

  • Pssssh, This is your captian speaking...AAAaaaaaah Preparing for take off. Open wing covers doors........(roger)...... Extend wings and check angle.......(roger).... Start vertical take off 30% power......80% power.... And we have lift off....

  • :24 - :35 is transformer lady bug

  • looks like a spaceship loool nature is amazing. we should pay more attention DAMN

  • 1:17 Get to tha choppa!!!!

  • Wft! I never knew it had wings under there lil armor dots

  • I think these videos are usually TOO slow.

  • that's weird how after the wings are deployed they just stay still for a while... Does it have to wait for blood to sufficiently get through the wings or something?

  • gross.....

  • if you look at the wings, it looks like one is spinning around him one way, and the other wing the other way, instead of them colliding

  • @stnega .... well why would its wings collide?

  • @Erilis666 you do know that the red shell isnt the wings, and the wings are colliding

  • @Erilis666 but its more towards the end of the video

  • because of that guys comment, i had to count all the flaps it took in my head. haha

  • its like a friggin transformer!

  • im alittle grossed out...its wings look slimy

  • i never knew that was how ladybugs spread their wings

  • amaZING!!

  • imagine ladybugs 100 times larger o.O

  • damn

  • @cristaleagle2 They can actually be very useful if you grow roses or other flowers, as they prey on the greenflys that eat your plants. I tend to encourage them wherever they're found in my garden, just like pollinating insects.

  • looked like some transformers shit.

  • I believe I can flyyyyyy!

  • Has anyone ever seen a baby ladybug?

  • @shadowbiter lame :)

  • It looks like it's about to break any second. o3o

    Awesome video.

  • wayy cooler than transformers - sorry megan fox

  • This must be how bugs feel when they try to get away from birds in their nightmares.

  • @Nighthawkinlight - great comment. :-)

  • 0:38, mutated lady bug win.

  • Awwh <3

  • 0:20 there i saved 20 seconds of your life

  • shit takes off like a helicopter lol

  • Humans have nothing on Mother Natures' creatures.

  • 7000 fps. but still..the wings really look that fast......

  • i didnt know pictures could move?

  • @nicsteg<
