Reminds of being a kid of 8 or 9. On summer evenings I could hear wonderful singing coming from the Ebenezer Baptist church. I would sneak out of the house and go to that church for the wonderful singing. Those precious people did not seem to mind this white kid coming to enjoy their company and singing.

The result of that experience is I have always been "moved" by spirituals more than any other type of gospel music.

Isn't that what he ultimately wanted, to heal the world asswipe? A lot of people know this song because it was sung at Michael's funeral. I never thought of it that way, but yeah, because of Michael's funeral and this song being sung, I have been searching for this song .. every video to hear the best version. I LOVE this song, and the lyrics are beautiful. Michael's funeral was used as a springboard for this song, which in turn can be a springboard to our King Jesus !!

I think I meant that many people heard this song the day of Michael's memorial... many that would not have heard it otherwise... you know, non-church goers. And that sir/mam I consider to be a wonderful thing. God uses every opportunity to reach the lost, and a single stirring gospel song such as this can move the heart. Thank you and peace.

@KE5HOB Ummm, fyi, did you know that event was MJ's Memorial, not his funeral!! It was not meant to be a funeral service. The funeral took place later, much later.
