@Chico1584 Im guessing Jak 1 will be most suitable for him, however in Jak 2 the difficulty is significantly increased. Then the difficulty is lowered in Jak 3. Jak 2 and 3 may have some suggestive scenes for a 7 year old since it went from being rated E to T in Jak 2.

I don't judge a game on graphics, but I might as well play the PS2 Version if it doesn't look good and modern.

It's like how I am with compression, I don't care if they say it's "HD" at a resolution of 1920x1080, if I see digital artifacts, I would rather watch a Betamax version...

@commodore256 There have been a few videos in comparison between them, and the HD collection has fixed quite a few visual bugs and made the colors pop very well.

There were a couple scenes in the original game where it didn't look so great. In the HD collection it seems to fix that.

Looks quite a bit better than the original, but don't expect a totally new graphics engine. Also, us Australians get it in 1080p! :D
