@gdiforeman That's the XA-20 Razorback. Made up aircraft. Its a ground attack plane, similar to the A-10 Warthog, but with more attention to the F-22 stealth stuff and missing the amazing supercannon the A-10 has. Its a nice craft, but its no A-10.

On the consoles multiplayer is dead. Single player is almost as fun as the last good flight combat game, which was Rogue Squadron. However on the PC the game is still a very popular multiplayer choice amongst select LAN gatherings. In all bruital honesty HAWX can only really be played in multiplayer nicely at a LAN because it's very network intensive.

And yes it is a lot like Ace Combat 6. Except with "state of the art" planes and sci-fi flight path tech.

But like the battlefield games, every flight combat game you'd expect to play the same, feel the same and apart from the graphics and cool new gameplay features, play mostly like the last flight combat game. Very little has changed since the days of Terminal Velocity and Fury³.

yeah ubi really needed some DLC to keep HAWX alive. Just a couple more game modes in multiplayer would have kept me on...but TDM just got old after a while. Some new co-op missions would have been fantastic as well, i certainly would have paid 9.99 for a pack of 3 or 4 co-op missions, and i think most everyone else would have to.

i dont think you can play split screen, but if your friend has a PS3 i am pretty sure you can play co-op via LAN

It's the same on the PC version, but there's a reason for it. Everyone for PC mostly didn't buy legit, and so they all play on Hamachi instead. There's noone for proper online, but there's like, 50+ servers running for Hamachi.
