Worst Sickness Ever Response (Gastroenteritis)

I am (hopefully) on the tail end of a three day journey of gastro myself. Not much (only some) green or yellow in my puke, so must not be much bile. But diarrhoea like there is no tomorrow! Boy! The diarrhoea, I think I am going to have for the rest of my life -- thus never stop! No vomiting now, but the runny shits though not as bad as before is nevertheless still ever present! Hopefully by tomorrow, I can finally get over the damn diarrhoea tself!

Omg my best friend has this and just came home from the hospital and ligit almost died

It wuz so scary she didn't eat anything 4 6 days it wuz so horrible!!! She got put on an

IV and did fine with tht but once she got home the insane vomitting started again.

This is SO bad and scary I miss her so much

And can't visit her cuz it's contagious!

i have it now. recovering actually regaining strength. threw up like 2 to 4 times. with a loose stool for 2 days. dont have it bad tho. :)

Did any of you ever suddenly become numb everywhere, dizzy, light headed, and with blurred vision aside from the obvious food poisoning symptoms? I went to the hospital because of that wednesday 8/29/11 and the doctor said probably a stomach virus or gastroenteritis etc.

people don't realise how dangerous this can be - I had it in rural Thailand for three days before I got to the hospital, I lost just over 30 pounds over that week and could not eat meat for the following month... thought I was gonna die...

you don't look 'that' bad considering what you've been through. when in doubt strong tea (sips) and dry toast-sorted. need to keep your systems running or you'd go into shock.

I'm 15 hours into it right now and its the second time i've had it so knew straight away. Can countdown after swallowing water untill it comes out again, worst, worst, worst. Wow if thats you in a yuck moment i have to see you on a good day!
