Michael keene's soloes aren't wanking at all, most of them are slow, with tons of whammy bar to give a spacy sound to match the theme of the album.

@NickNR I used to think like that. At one time I was all about Dream Theater, and thought John Petrucci was god and no one could match him. I listen to a much larger variety of music now, and I think all these great guitarists are in a gray area where you can't really say one is 'better' than the other, you just like their style better than the others.

I just looked them up, not bad, but not quite on par with the quality of music I like to listen to.

Being a musician myself I prefer music where I can really appreciate the skill of the musicians who made it, (like Galneryus) Evilthorn didn't do that for me.

there is no point in making a speedy neo classical flower metal to open an anime..

check the single "ALSATIA/CAUSE DISARRAY" and realise that the other songs are power metal in its most enjoying/nauseating form.
