@galiant609 Yes and no. If you have the downloaded version of Warzone 2100, then yes, there ARE two songs you'll hear through out the game, plus the menu music too!

But if you have the CD version (the real one), then there's three songs on there, plus the menu music as well.

After watching this clip in youtube. In your temporary internet files you will find a file with FLV extension.

To make a search easier delete all temporary files before watching this.

You'll need a VLC player (google) to play back that file.

Use format factory to convert it to a .ogg file and put it in the music folder for the game. Then edit the .wpl playlist file with notepad and type track3.ogg.

There was alot of game development by fans after EIDOS divorced the game. And I mean A L O T.

I was there! Everything from story to strategy, to music, we even had professional coders writing the game based of the original source.

But! Enthusiasm can last for only so long. People had school, jobs and families to atent to. Without any financial gain we could commit to this time consuming hobby for only so many years.

Thats why WZ community is mostly moding, and not making a new game.

I still play this, thank GOD for the PS3 because my PS2 wouldn't play PS1 games for some reason. It was tricky to play when I first got it, whIch I can say was a LONG time ago but now I know all of the little details I think it's simply THE best RTS game ever made. The vast amounts of research, the story lines, features like the vehicle design and the fact that it could be viewed from multiple angles meant it was way superior to C&C.

Yes, definately bring it back and make a sequel.

played the demo of it (which had cheats so i could really play around, such fun) then went and bought the game for the PS1.

but damn I have been trying to get all the music for it(warzone2100 rsurrection has no music or sequences =(. ) and I have 2 of them which RmanDC has posted under the nexus and newparadigm logos but I can't find this one anywhere.

It was because of damn Red Alert 1 that this game didnt get as much attention because they came out around the same time, and because of C&C 1, Red Alert had alot more talk about it, and warzone semt to have slipped past. But yeah, WZ is a good game.

yea realy bad it wasnt a succsess. but since the resurrection project its had over 2 million hits, and pumpkin studios are gouping back together with the project to try and release a new game. the reason the last game wasnt a great sucsess was because they made it to hard. and the fact no other game had gotten as good A.I system back then. but since then people playing games have finaly relised you cant just run into battle and kill everything with 1 shot. 9/10 at todays rating

Thank you for this...I've been searching for this track off and on for the past 9 years, ever since first hearing it as my "machinegun-viper-wheels" roamed the desert, massacring scavenger people...the music certainly added a sense of exhilaration to the whole thing.

Warzone was such an underrated game...very unfortunate what ultimately happened to it. The PS1 version was hard as hell, though.

The game support was withdrawn in one day with out any notice to the fans that were quite numerous and active on the game forum. One morning the forum was just gone.

Edios, Pumpkin's enployer closed the project. Apperantly WZ2100 did not produce enough bounce in the game world. I can undestand that, because back then people were still playing RedAlert (and other "red squares" vs "blue squares" rts'es).

U're right!I loved this game since i saw the Demo!And no one should say:"WTF 4 different sensor?!"because each sensor has a function:CB for counter-battery fire,VTOL strike for VTOL Strikes and normal sensor in order to have a better vision of the battlefield!And,now,you have the multi-turret option on version 2.1 but it has some bugs but i think it's good even with that!And,what the hell,it's the best RTS game ever!Sadly,it wasn't very popular...
