I remember my first IT job was simply help desk support for a small computer company. It paid minimum wage ($5.35 at the time). My first raise, after 6 months, took me to a whopping $6.00 an hour. But it was the field that studied in and where I wanted to be. The jobs (and pay) got better a couple of years later.
With lots of MS certs knocked out, I'm not moving on to Cisco (I should have done this years ago) and I've found Jeremy to be a great teacher.
