I beleive that's a prototype that Dean made him when he was thinking about doing his signature guitar. It's just a custom shop guitar from Dean, not in production. I will note that that guitar wound up being the Bird of Prey from DBZ Guitars (the original owner/creator of Dean's new company).

Now that I just thought about it, they don't sound like Metallica. I would actually compare them to In Flames and Lamb of God rolled up together. It's just that Matt's voice reminds me of Hetfield is all (which is okay). I still would like their next album to be more like Ember to Inferno or Ascendancy. I just think their sound had the best edge on those two albums. Shogun is still pretty good. :)

They felt that every other band was doing that so they wanted to be different. and also cause they didnt listen to bands that screamed so they thought, "why are we doing this?". but then they let m music flow freely on Shogun! thats why he screams and sings and other stuff.

I would love it if the new album was more like what the Ember to Inferno album or the Ascendancy album were in style. Not that I didn't like Shogun or anything, cause I do, but I just think that it was those two albums that made Trivium truely great.
