Hmm, after viewing the Turbo CD version of Valis III, I always wondered why the game wasn't released on the Sega CD instead of the Sega Genesis? A lot of the cut-scenes, spoken audio, and of course the CD quality soundtrack was removed from the Genesis port...
I was just ripping the audio from this game again today. This is the only place I could find the name of the composer. That makes this channel completely amazing-full.
The TG-16 had a 16-bit Graphics processor, so everything that was displayed by a TG-16 was 16-bit (including the cinematic scenes).
That said, the main cpu on the TG-16 was only 8-bit. So TG-16 isn't really a 16-bit console, but nor is really an 8-bit console, either. The best way to describe it is that it's a hybrid 8/16-bit console (8-bit CPU, 16-bit graphics processor)
great beats to that game, i still have it, had it since the mid 90s, u left out some good songs
