I liked this anime, thou it could have been longer and more fighting. There just isn't manny good war animes, both this and pumpkin scissors don't focus enough about the reality of war. But by all means I liked both of them

The game is slightly better than the anime, but the anime really is a fantastic adaption.

Even though I usually hate dubbing it makes more sense in English than it does in Japanese because of the game's background being in Europa.

they will also be making a spin-off anime off the 3rd game

the anime name is either "Senjou no valkyria:Gallian chronicles" or "valkyria chronicles" depending on wether you want eng lish or jap name :P

but yeah,if you played the game and liked the story you should DEFINITLY watch the anime. The anime is what got me to buy the games.

I only watched this since I saw op1, which was because I wanted to see how the gameplay was due to the fact I saw the game review by Zero Punctuations. I later learned ther was an anime adaptions so I checked this out, and all I have to say is: WTF!!!!!!!!!!!

But I also hate those Americunts for example that are WW2/Germany-"Fans" playing war in costumes and don´t even try to think a bit!

@Cavaliso It's really nothing like a ww2 setting. In fact its more like the game skies of arcadia, whihc I doubt you've played though. As much as I tend to hate japanese, jrpg, or any kind of poorly written asian game (and most are, I hate to say) VC is a great game with strong story/characters/gameplay

General concensus seems to be "The anime takes the game, farts on it, and then laughs." One example is adding Faldio and making it an Alicia-Welkin0Faldio love triangle. Totally made up for the anime. I haven't watched it yet, myself.

first came the anime then the game and the first game on the ps3 has really good grapic, was like the anime look but the 2nd game was released only on the psp whit stupid grapics this is why i dont buyed the psp version for the ps3

@Dadarkforce it doesn't, I can garentee, it just milking off the success of the first, and the anime. It's very cheap compared to the first, insanely cheap compared to the first, graphics are some of the worst I've seen on the PSP. lol
