  • you don't need to see God to believe in him. His miracles are all around us , if you just take the time to look.

  • This song is so peaceful for Religious people. I, however, thought it was a good song, but I do not believe in a God.

  • I believe in Heaven and all, but we have no actual evidence that he is "real"...Now come on, how do people expect him to "rise" from the dead..

  • @thomas3816 Because it's not supposed to be obvious that he's there. If it was obvious everyone would easily know his presence. But he's not supposed to reveal himself. We have to "know" that in our hearts he's there. God gave us a purpose on this earth. And that purpose is to challenge us. So right now, his challenge for you is the exact same question you just asked. Here is as clear answer I can give you. We don't "expect" him to rise from the dead. We "know" that he did. We can feel it.

  • As a fervent young Catholic, I was always told that God is all knowing and can predict the future. Why then, did he create Adam & Eve (all knowing) that they would sin and that for Eons to come he would have to send Jesus to save us from something that he KNOWINGLY created...SIN...This has been bothering me a lot in my "Autumn of My Life". I know that as Good Catholics, we are not supposed to doubt but It sounds like God wanted to be venerated and he therefore Created Adam & Eve for this reason.

  • @racsou47 there's nothing wrong with asking questions. God didn't "create" sin. Imagine you're building a fence, dividing a large yard in 2 and you put man on the top of that fence.

Man'se going to want to get down. He has a choice on which side to go. If he didn't, forced love isn't love at all. Man was allowed to choose to either follow God or not follow God. What a privilege to have such responsibility! Since sin is everything God is NOT, by taking that first step, man fell off the fence

  • @RBVTBONE Thanks for your reply! Yes but God created his brain...why didn't he just made him like everything else...innocent and free. He KNOWS everything and Sees everything we were told ,so he certainly foresaw their sinning and the eventual outcome of this. Do you not agree that HE knows everything and Foresees everything?

  • @racsou47 I agree, and He did create man with this foreknowledge. The reason He created Adam this way is because, without it, we would not be in God's image. Man WAS created innocent and free like the animals in a way, but the POTENTIAL for sin was there; this was the original hierarchical division between man and animals. However, because man exercised that potential in the way that was detrimental to him, the line between humans and animals was blurred and we have what we have today..

  • @racsou47 we still have dominion, but the potential for falling back in primacy is greater. The is a bad thing because we humans have an obligation to exercise our spiritual potential because we are much better off that way.

  • @ChronicTroll No. I'd say you're the brainwashed one. You simply refuse to open your eyes and seek God. You have no idea in anything in God's Word, and have no interest in the beautiful messages this song gives. So my question is, why would you come here and disrespect anyone in the first place?

  • We are all responsible for original sin because we are all of the same body, as a single human race. Human pride is one of the biggest obstacles to faith, and that is to be expected. Man is a proud animal. and pride is what caused the fall of Lucifer (Satan). You have a choice whether you believe or not. I love God because I know that I am responsible for all my sin; all my shortcomings are entirely mine and all my successes are because of Him. He is good and loves every one of us, even you.

  • The occurance of evil cannot be attributed to God, because he is always good. Rather, sinful humanity is to blame. When the first human beings decided to reject God and his goodness, they chose to know evil, and as a result, we, their children, now know evil in this world. We need to follow Christ, repent, and ask for the Lord's mercy.

  • @Rosatus4 What kind of a divine justice is this, to punish all the descendants of the sinner. Don`t talk a bout A JUST loving god. He is a Maniac.

  • @tallliza The entire human race is in the first sinner, that is, Adam. As a result, we all bear original sin. We are a human familly. However, I would say rather that humans are the "maniacs" when they deliberately choose not to obey God, who alone is all good. Humans, in choosing against what is good (aka God), reject goodness and turn to evil.

  • @Rosatus4 The entire human race is in the first sinner, that is, Adam

How can you take these silly bible stories for facts. Secondly, again, what kind of divine justice is this, to punish all the descendants of the sinner ? This fact alone, if it were true, is reason to curse this god, instead of loving him. You would never love an earthly judge, who makes such a ruling. This bible screws peoples sense of justice.

  • To god be the glory for what ? For creating 2 million toxins. For creating deserts, droughts, floods?? for allowing 2 billion people to go hungrry ? For 4,500,000 stillbirths a year and over 5 million deads in the first year of life ? Really !!!!

  • Glory to god in the highest and peace to his people on earth
