Good video. A few pointers maybe give him 5 crickets instead they store fat under thier arms rather than on thier sides. Also seen for water you have a bottle/dish I'd also recommend a light spraying of the cage because geckos are sight hunters. And usually can't see non moving water.

that's a nice gecko but I'm scared he almost def has MBD. I'm just getting into gecko's but that's def MBD. he's barely lifting his front left arm and it's obviously bendy and he's in pain as he eats. calcium shots at the vet are 100 dollars or more I believe and u can try and help him with more calcium but who knows. I just noticed this video is from 08 so if u still check on youtube could u please let us know if this was the case and how things went?

@stinkyroffo the crickets usually dont contain everything your gecko needs to survive so it good to dust your crickets before feeding them, or you can just gut load the crickets. DONT USE CALCIUM SAND!!!! The stores say that it is digestible but it can still clump in the digestive system and cause impaction so using any kind of sand is still dangerous. I have sand in mine but when i feed my gecko i put down paper towels or something that he will not eat that can cause him to get sick.

i feed mine once every 3 days but mine is an adult. If you have a baby you should feed it once or twice everyday, but do not feed them too big of crickets because a baby's stomach is so small. Feed a baby two week old crickets, and an adult anything. And remember, never use sand!
